A: It's a safety for the battery so the battery want go dead while waiting to be sold or in transit to buyer. When you pull it off it activates the battery. Hope this helps.

I bought this for a 7 year old boy birthday gift. That night I received a text from the boys mom that he loved the ball so much he had his dad start teaching him to dribble and wanted to sleep with it. When I received the ball thru Target Drive-up the battery side was exposed on the outside of the packaging and the battery fell out easily. Then when I looked in the bag, there was a white plastic plug that's supposed to cover it BUT why does it stick out or maybe I received a defective one? I tries to look online to see if it's supposed to look like that but couldn't really find anything except this one video & it's supposed to come with a tool to take plug out & battery which was not on the box. This was supposed to be a kids gift and now I can't even give it. Also, the ball feels sticky so maybe its been on the shelf for a long time. Did anyone else have this issue?😔

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this ball we found at Target. It can be found in the toy section. While I dont think its a toy, and rather works well as a great outdoor basketball. The rotation on the ball for shots and bounce back to your hand reacts EXACTLY as a indoor competivie ball IMO. The feature of lighting up is a Neighbourhood draw with all the kids around the block swarming our hoop. Having the ball light up extends play deep into dusk. The product is so amazing we bought two more basketballs, a soccer ball and volleyball! Looking forward to the football! Keep up the great work Night Games!!!

I was expecting this ball to be the same brightness as something that glows in the dark. I was pleasantly surprised to see how bright it is! You can legitimately with it in the dark. So much fun!

I was hesitant to buy this ball but it actually works. We’ve had it for at least 7 months and it’s still going strong. Not sure how you change the battery or how long it lasts but so far we’re happy with it.

my daughter bought this for her brother for Christmas. He was so excited to use it. As the needle went in the valve the valve went into the ball. No way to keep the ball inflated now. My son is very upset as he didn't even get to play with it. I contacted the company and didn't even get a response. Terrible quality and customer service.
