Q: Can someone who actually owns one tell me if it emits a plastic or burnt smell? I've own 2 both name brands and they both smelled really strong and one actually stopped working after a week/2 uses

submitted by Jan - 9 months ago
  • A: May sound odd, but check if you are using cooking spray. I found if you use a soybean based cooking spray it emits an odd smell. Took me a long time to figure it out. Canola oil based spray is ok.

submitted byMary - 5 months ago
  • A: There shouldn't be any plastic or burnt smells from this unit.

  • A: This system does not have a rice or bean function. You can use the bake function in order to cook these items.

Q: I am wondering how to know which function to use? For example, whether cooking chicken or veggies - Will it always be air fry? When do I use bake, roast?

submitted by Annie - 4 years ago
  • A: The function used will depend on how you would like the ingredients cooked. If you are looking to bake chicken you would use the bake function. If you wish to air fry your chicken you would use the air fry function.
