Fit & style

This style runs large. For the best fit, we recommend selecting a full size smaller than your normal shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a 10, we recommend selecting a 9. Nisolo shoes are handmade from genuine leather and will stretch over time. The handwoven leather may feel slightly snug at first but will perfectly mold to your feet over time. These should be snug out of the box. For the greatest comfort, we recommend wearing your new Nisolo footwear for just a few hours for the first few days to allow the leather to mold to your feet. Within three to five wears, the leather will soften and mold to your feet.

I had ordered a pair in my normal shoe size of 101/2 and were supposed to order a full size smaller or 91/2. I love the shoes/sandals but it’s 35 out now so I it will be awhile until I wear them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed. I chose a size 8 (I’m UK size 8.5 but the website says go a size down so I followed the advice). Then when the sandals arrived, they were nearer size 6 - couldn’t even get my feet in them. Now I have the hassle of trying to get DHL UK to send them back, but this is proving difficult because the return transit sheet is generated in the USA so the DHL online booking system won’t recognise it.

These are for a sit down occasion and might need some breaking in with a thin sock as they tore some skin off of the top of my foot. I'm 5'11, 200 lbs. Usually a size 13. I currently have the 12.5

Originally followed site’s advice to order a full size smaller than my true size, they were hard to even put on. So I ordered a half size larger than true, and they are way too large. Should have ordered my true 8.5, but at this point and what will be 2 restocking fees I’m just going to take the loss.

I have a pair I picked up in Todos Santos, Mexico but the leather and footbed of the Nisolo's are much better. I still love my other pair, though I feel these will last longer. I had to get a 1/2-size down from what I usually wear. I tried a full size down first after reading reviews but they were too small.

The article says they will stretch out to fit your foot. i have a wide foot and have been wearing the shoe for a week and the toe is still tight not fitting my wide foot. As now i have worn the shoe trying to stretch or break in the leather and can not return for a larger size. Should have ordered a 10 1/2 or 11 which is my normal shoe size. Any suggestions?
