I bought this in Arizona, when I arrived my skin was soooo dry it was flaking and I was bracing myself for some serious dry skin. This lotion saved me! It soaks right is and actually moisturizes. I bought another bottle when I got home and actually used it on my baby belly bump too!! So far no new stretch marks at 37 weeks (third baby)

I tried this "new gold bottle" new formula. I was hesitant to buy it. Nivea is constantly discontinuing really good products and it's my only complaint about the company as a whole. This lotion is junk, greasy feeling that makes you feel like there's ointment on your skin. The smell is so strong I had to take another shower and wash it off because I was unable to fall asleep with it on my shin. Everytime I moved I would get a big waft of this lotion smell. Very disappointed. Formula changes lead to bad reviews and word travels fast even without the internet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this lotion! This have been the only moisturizer that I’ve used for at least 5 years. My skin had never been softer. I adore the smell. I only wish that this particular product came in a smaller bottle so that I could also carry it with me. I’m a nurse that has to wash her hands very often and it would be awesome to be able to use this lotion while I was at work vs only being able to use at home.

I have been using Nivea consistently for 4 almost five years.I have tried their light oil infused lotion ,The original Hands down this one is the best.Im 50 and I hear your skin glows...Ps I use the Nivea soft on my face. MY Mom used Nivea products and she was diabetic like me and people couldn't believe when she'd tell them she was 70. A product that should be shared woman to woman for generations.

I’ve never been a body lotion girly but this changed me. I put this on after every shower and my skin has never been smoother and softer! It has really quick absorption and I can feel the hydration setting in. Amazing product and a definite must-have!

I had been using Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion for many years. Probably more than 10. But they went and changed the formula sometime after the pandemic. It no longer smells the same as it used to. It leaves a residue that it never did before. And when applied, it now makes my skin itch. This seems to be a reasonable replacement. I only gave it 4 stars because: 1) It smells more like Nivea than Cocoa Butter (which is OK) and 2) It's a little bit greasy, but not enough to stop me from using it. There is a slight greasyness that remains after applying, but I can live with it. It does seem to hydrate well. I've used Nivea lotion in the past and it is comparable.

I would give this a five star rating if it didn't irritate my skin because this stuff makes my skin so incredibly soft, smooth, glowy and supple - better than any other lotion I've ever tried BUT I believe the fragrance irritates my skin as I break out in itchy red bumps every time. So please, please Nivea.. make a fragrance free version of this specific lotion for those of us with sensitive skin! I'll love you forever and I'm sure so many of us senstive skin folks would highly appreciate it since we're often put by the wayside I've also tried the Sensitive and Radiant formula and it's nowhere near as good - it just doesn't give me the same soft, smooth and silky effect and it feels sticky

The NIVEA Cocoa Butter Body Lotion is a staple in my home. We have one in each bathroom and I always keep one on my night stand. It has a mild cocoa butter scent, absorbs well and hydrates my skin. This is the only lotion that helps my dry hands during the winter time.

I have used nivea cocoa butter for at least 10years in a row. I just repurchased and discovered that both the bottle and content has changed. It smells differently and the consistency is also different. My skin is getting drier after each use and it doesn't feel good at all. Bring back our original nivea cocoa butter

I’ve loved this lotion for a long time now. People say they reformulated it and while that may be true I haven’t noticed a difference in quality or smell. This is the only lotion that works for my skin. I love that I don’t feel greasy or sticky when I use this too. Will keep buying. Thanks Nivea!

I am struggling to find the original Nivea cocoa butter 48 hr body lotion in the white bottle. I loved it. It had a nice scent and made my skin feel so soft and supple. I bought the blue bottle (new formula) I didn't like it at all. It was sticky and the scent was terrible. I threw the bottle away! Is there any way to bring back the old formula? I have one bottle left of the original left. I don't want to leave Nivea as I really like the original formula. But the new formula is not an acceptable choice for me. Thank you, Michelle Terpstra
