My skin felt moisturized in the moment and it left a nice glow, but I’m usually dry again by morning unless I top it with aquaphor, and even that isn’t enough sometimes. It’s not super hard to rub in, but it does take some effort. The smell isn’t bad at all and it doesn’t last more than a minute. Best if you apply right after a shower.

This lotion is incredible for dry skin, instantly soothing, and the hydration LASTS. I'm a nurse, and this smells like cheap, nasty hospital toiletries. The formula is five stars. If you can get over the smell, you will love this.

I really wanted to like this lotion, as it has a cult following, but it’s entirely too thick and difficult to spread. I have to use so much more lotion and it does not dry down for several hours. Feels thick and sticky, and it doesn’t feel more moisturizing than any other lotion. Unfortunately I will have to return. I love the Vaseline lotions, which are easier to spread and have a lot of moisture.

This is my go-to moisturizer for my dry skin. I use it every day on most of my body except my face. It's very similar to the old-time Nivea oil but a little less oily and a little more creamy. I like the light scent too - not overwhelming or intrusive - I don't even think about it. I shop this item diligently to get the best price so I buy it from Target in the 33.8-oz. size and order several bottles at a time.
