Q: Are metal legs removable so I could -attach D-Rigs to the back and hang on the wall? or -attach boards to create new legs that are adjusted to bed height and could be painted to match fabric?

The support legs will be attached during assembly, however please do note that we cannot recommend any form of alteration or after market use for our item as it was not manufactured to be used as such, and also has not been tested in that manner. Any form of alteration/ use of after market product would void the warranty if something adverse were to happen.

Q: What are the distances of the holes to the floor? It looks like the previous answer must be incorrect-the bottom of the hole to floor is 26.25"; it appears that there are two holes.

A: The hole closest to the floor is 6.88" long, is 5.38" from the ground to its lowest point, and 12.13" at its highest point.

This headboard is NOT adjustable. The design is terrible. If you have a standard height mattress the ugly metal legs will show above your mattress. Looks bad.

This headboard looks great in person for the price and was very easy to install. Our bed is very high so we did not have a problem with a gap as other reviewers did. I gave this 4 stars only because the height is not adjustable like it says it is although, this was not a problem for us.

I loved assembling this, I did it completely on my own with no issues. I read the reviews after I purchased the head board and I was scared, couldn't wait until Christmas so I can see if I made a mistake or not. I installed it onto a Full sized frame, it fits well and looks great. Not too tall and the gap is minor plus my daughter has a ton of pillows. I highly recommend for a tween room.
Also found it to be too tall, don't like gap!!

I how it looks and that it is not bulky. It is too high for our bed though. I do think it's good for the price, so I was wondering what type of bed frame other people whose frame worked for this headboard have??

This headboard looks great! Perfect for my daughters room. It actually was delivered several days before the actual scheduled delivery date, so that was a bonus! The material is a canvas like material. It is ivory, off white, as you can tell in the pictures up against the pure white curtains, which I haven’t changed yet. Putting it together........ it is made for a full or queen size bed/frame. And “adjustable” height for the bed. The holes didn’t line up that well and when you got one side attached and went to do the other it would be off and crooked. I feel like it took a lot longer than it should have to assemble due to the way it was made, but in the end I was able to make it work and turned out great! Maybe easier to put together with more than one person. But for the price it’s perfect!!!!

Biggest waste of time, energy, and money. The design is horrible it says it has adjustable height but it cant go any lower because the second area where the bolts go in wont let you lower it anymore then where it stops. I could get longer bolts. Drill a hole or shorter legs that just might hit.even.with theholes... but I dont have the time or energy to redesign the whole thing..not to.mention I should have considering how much.you pay for it...I hate it!

Large gap between headboard and mattress

Not adjustable to shorter, only taller. Our mattress is 28 inches off the floor and this headboard sat about 3 inches above the mattress, too much for pillows to disguise. Called customer service and they had no separate shorter legs to purchase and wouldn't file a customer comment on the situation. I think Target needs to post the height of the bottom border of headboard for their products.
Nice looking, very sad to have to return.

This headboard was exactly what we wanted. We ordered the dark gray for our queen bed and it actually fit perfectly. There were comments about the gap between the bottom of the headboard and the top of the mattress, we had that issue as well but it truly doesn't bother us. When the bed is made you can't even tell unless you move the pillows. Other reviews mentioned poor instructions, we didn't have a problem with that since assembly was pretty self explanatory.

Purchased for my full bed. Nice looking headboard in the gray color and appears to be well made. Legs are not as adjustable as your bed may need. After assembly, I was left with a 3.5" gap between bottom of headboard and mattress. Directions say that the legs can be adjusted for height but the curve at the top of the headboard restricts this feature as they would extend above the top of the headboard if adjusted to the proper height. I called the distributor to see if shorter legs were available but they aren't. Between liking the look of the headboard and not wanting to start the headboard hunt over, I made new legs using a 1x4" piece of lumber and new hardware. Definitely not ideal but the job is done and the headboard looks great.
