53" Normandy Tall TV Media Stand - Wyndenhall

One of the most beautiful in appearance I've ever seen - and the worst quality parts and construction. The 'real' wood is so soft multiple pieces split or cracked during normal assembly. The right door jambs against the drawers and there is no adjustment designed in. Placing - very carefully - a 42" panel TV on top, after a few hours, left permanent indentations in the soft wood. The cast pin retainers are so soft and inadequate I had to replace for reshape many and not quite snug the items together. Many pieces fit so badly that if you blindly follow the instructions you will have trouble. For example, If you use the 'guide holes' in the back panels without first carefully shifting manually, and sharply angling the screws, you will be guaranteed to have screws break through the shelving. I was willing to pay a premium for 'real' wood but have ordered a replacement made with MDF as I am sure the material will be far harder. Sad waste of time and effort though Target was magnificent to deal with on the return.

This unit is really nice looking once it is put together but assembling it was horrible! The predrilled holes were too small for the screws. Luckily I have my own electric drill but I had to enlarge every hole in order to get the screws in. All the pieces were clearly labeled which helped immensely but if I hadn't had a drill available I wouldn't have been able to assemble it.

I was nicely surprised at the quality of this product as it was very reasonably priced. Putting it together was not bad. Took two of us about an hour. It is a beautiful addition to our familybroom

Ordered this online for my parents and went through all of the entertainment centers and picked this one because it didn't have wood composite within the frame and the top was not wood veneer. It arrived pretty quickly and the color is perfect. It assembled fairly quickly and it's very sturdy. My parents love it! And I do too. It's well made and heavy and the drawers and doors are nice as well.

Product has so many blemishes in the manufactured wood Not easy to assemble - the local Target store should offer a service to call and make an appointment for an associate to come to your home to assemble. Now I have to find a person to invite into my home to put this stand together. I have carpal tunnel in both hands and unable to tighten the bolts, screws. The various pieces are not labeled to make it less confusing; the main frame should be marked front of stand, back of stand; left side and right side is helpful if you are attaching to the proper front piece. $223 is not expensive, but expensive enough that I need to pay someone to put it together, and then I need to touch up the blemished spots. I watched the UPS guy just drop the box on my driveway, and when I ran out to wave him down to come back and bring it in the house, he looked at me and just drove off.

This product is built well. Very nice when completed. Only thing i was disappointed with was the doors. Strength of magnets to close doors are weak. Defeated the purpose of us getting this piece of furniture when you have a curious 1 year old litle gal. We hope to find a solution soon. Besides that, it was an almost great product.

This is a nice looking unit but it was horrendous to put together!! No pre drilled holes where they're suppose to be. Lining up everything was extremely difficult. Make sure you have power tools for this job.

My husband and I assembled this together and soon realized that the manufacturer's drill needs re-calibrated. Holes were either too deep or not lining up well. But we got it to go together and it seems rather sturdy. We have a 53" TV on it and it fits very well. The storage is great as well - all our DVDs and video games fit with room to spare for some decorations. The real wood is what sold us and it is REAL. Even the board on the back is a veneer. Super happy now that it's together.

This is such a beautiful stand!! We went to every furniture store in the area and couldn't find anything at this price point that had great quality.... This stand is it!!! The color is beautiful and SOLID wood! We have our 60" tv on it, and it looks great. Love the height! Definitely recommend this product. However, it is much easier to have two people to assemble this stand.

The TV stand arrived quickly & very well packaged. It went together easily with 2 people. The color is amazing ... nice & dark. Its not pressed wood, its real wood, which we're thrilled with. Loving it!
