It’s a decent storage cabinet but the door has a slight gap that you can see into the top shelf. The door looks like it was wrapped in white paper and not painted. Very heavy and tall so it should definitely be mounted to the wall if children are around.

Before retirement, my brother managed a particle board plant that made the boards for Sauder. When I started looking for a cabinet, he said "Buy Sauder-they are the Cadillac ". I did and I agree.

The back is thin, will push out if the back not against the wall. Needs more shelves but the they won't sell stating not designed for it. The finish is not durable and will absorb anything so use shelf liner.

Received my cabinet however it was missing some hardware parts. I immediately referred to the website on the work instructions book, entered live chat and was sent a FedEx tracking # and confirmation it would be sent in 2-4 business days all in under 2 mins. Best and easiest customer service I have ever experienced. After the hardware was sent putting together is a breeze with the booklet and QR code with additional video instructions. I would recommend Sauder for any furniture needs they go above and beyond to ensure you are pleased with your purchase.

No problem with assembly. I had all the parts I needed and everything was easy to assemble. However, the front side of the left door was marred in one spot (1/4 x 1/2). Not happy. I own other Sauder products and never had anything wrong with them until this one.
