Q: can these bulbs get wet in the rain? And will they get too hot to hang beside a canvas gazebo? how long do the bulbs last? can you buy more if they burn out?

A: Yes, these are UL certified for outdoor use, and can get wet in the rain. Since these are incandescent bulbs, they will get slightly warm to the touch after they've been on for awhile. We recommend leaving a little bit of space between the bulbs and the canvas, for proper air circulation. If you want the safest bulbs for use with fabric, we recommend LED lights. They remain cool to the touch. The bulb life depends on how often these are used, but these are high quality. We also currently have more in stock, if needed. Thank you

Very cute lights, but they do not come with spare bulbs. Our set came with one broken and since they were sold out, we could not order another string (or 2) to replace. I tried finding replacement bulbs but these are the bigger, more rare g50 instead of the more available g40. Also, other sets/bulbs are described as satin, opaque, etc., but no frosted. Is satin the same as frosted?! I’m not sure I want to gamble So frustrated. Also, these bulbs seem very delicate for outdoor bulbs. I’m nervous for the rest of the season.
