I'll be honest...I bought this because I thought it was ridiculous. The plan was to put it on my mother's bird feeder and drive her cats crazy. When we got the thing out of the box the end of the tail was bent up - permanently. I tried folding it back down with no luck. The crest fell off before we even got to use it - it is "held" in place with a sharp pin and possibly some glue. I didn't have a glue gun with me so we had to go without the fancy embellishment. Finally there were what appeared to be hot glue gun strings across the back which I had to remove. There is a screw in the bottom which attaches to the clip - it never tightened so the bird kind of swings around - I'm not sure if that's a feature or a fault. All in all I felt this wasn't worth $10 - more like $4.00 maximum. It is very bright and shiny and somehow it has remained clipped outside for several days.
