Q: Does the pot get too hot when it is turned on or does it stay cool to the touch? I have an old tree with fiber optic lights and color changing wheel inside the base causing the wires to overheat.

A: There is a multi-color wheel at the base that rotates causing the lights to change when the item is turned on so it would be difficult to make the light steady

It's so cute and festive. Nice next to the fireplace when you don't want to put up a full-size tree. Very bright and pretty.

This tree resembles a tree purchased many years ago from a store named Shopko. It no longer exists as a general merchandise store, but using the information from the original box, it lead me to your site. I checked numerous other sites that had similar products, but this particular tree seemed to be the closest. Although the holidays are over, I am enjoying it for a while longer. It is sensational.

While this tree is a nice size for smaller spaces, everything else about it is terrible. The branches feel like they're going to fall off as soon as you move them to fluff them or adjust them. The fiber optic lighting is so muted you can hardly even see it. The pre-lit lights flash so rapidly that I nearly got sick watching it, and there is no way to adjust them to anything else so they just flash endlessly as such a quick speed you can't even enjoy them. If you disconnect the pre-lit wires (because it's a red wire sticking out of the base and a red wire on the tree, not a switch, that turns them on or off when they're connected/disconnected) the star doesn't light up, which also flashes as quickly as the rest of the tree when the lights are on. There IS a switch, however, that turns the fiber optic portion on and off. Additionally, there was nothing in the box as far as instructions go, so you have to figure this all out for yourself. I will absolutely be returning this product, as it only took thirty minutes for me to realize I don't like it at all.
