We had high hopes for the design of this stand; however, the main locking clips were not strong enough to do their job. We felt very strongly that we would come home one day and the tree would be down. The other design flaw is that it only has 4 bolts to stabilize the tree, and that just doesn’t seem like it will hold it steady either. We returned it and got an $18 stand that has been much more stable with 5 bolts that twist in and lock in place.
