I've always purchased Bastiste brand, but then recently "not your mother's" had a $2 coupon thru Target so i thought what the heck. I am a 55 yo female that has always had extremely thin hair, and also very little of it to the point that you can see my scalp. Not Your Mother's has been a game changer for my type of hair. It not only combats my oily roots, but it also helps volumize my hair a bit, and it just makes my hair, of what i have, look nice. With the Bastiste brand, it would also combat oily roots but in return my hair always felt dry and kinda ratty and had a weird texture. For my hair type, i feel "not your mother's" has really made my hair look much better, and I'm glad i tried this product. So far I've only tried "clean freak", and I really like it, but i may venture to their other types out of curosity and see how it looks and feels for my hair type.

I have pretty oily skin that makes it tough to skip wash days and this stuff allows me to get up to five days without washing my hair. It is also truly scent free which is incredibly appreciated. My favorite dry shampoo product to date. The only bummer is the huge price hike that just occurred here. I will continue buying it, but at another retailer. The value Target provided just isn’t here anymore at the wildly increased price point.

This dry shampoo is AMAZING - best one I’ve tried for my needs!!! I can’t do scented products because they give me a migraine and every other dry shampoo I tried had a scent. This one is truly unscented. If you spray it too close, it does show up white on your hair, but once I ran my fingers through it to rub it in and brushed it through, the white went away and my hair didn’t look greasy anymore. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve bought this product three times (because it’s hard to find a completely unscented dry shampoo,) and every single time it has gone flat after using it just a few times, and is then unusable. It no longer sprays at all despite having plenty of product left in the can. Very frustrating.

I have high sensitivity to smells and this is the only dry shampoo that is unscented enough for me. Make sure to massage the spray into your roots. Your mileage may vary but it worked well for my oily hair.
