[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NYM was a go-to dry shampoo of mine for many years, but I think I'll be moving on from it because it just is not what it used to be. I've noticed recently that around half the cans I get have defective nozzles, rendering the can useless. If I'm going to spend money on a can of dry shampoo, I'd like to actually use that can. When the nozzle DOES work. it coats everything in a 5-foot radius in powdery dust and leaves me looking like I'm wearing powder all over my hair. I don't personally think looking like a founding father is a cute lol. so I really do not appreciate the white cast it leaves on my hair, something it says it WON'T do on the can. Even worse is that I wear mostly black clothing and notice throughout the day that I will have powder and random white marks on me from the dry shampoo. I find this EXTREMELY annoying, and again, not okay. I do not know what is the difference about the formulation, but something HAS CHANGED. this did not used to happen and the product used to be much more effective. I have medium/thick hair that gets oily looking fairly quickly. This product used to let me go 4 to 5 days without washing my hair which honestly I cannot stand to not wash my hair that long so about every 3 to 4 days. Now I can barely stretch it to 2 days. What happened, Not Your Mother's?? Why change formulation? Why???

I get good volume from using it near my roots. There is no white residue, and it definitely helps absorb oil and lets me extend at least an extra day between washes. I love the scent! It's super fruity, almost candy sweet. I have sprayed it in my hair just for the smell. This is a gigantic bottle so I'm sure it'll last a long time. For this price point, it's an amazing value, much better product for the price than the more expensive dry shampoos that I've tried.

The only thing I dislike is the scent, overwhelmingly floral to the point of distraction a long while after I've used it. But it just works so well! I don't know if they have an unscented yet, if they do I'll switch. But even if they don't I'll still keep ordering this one.
