Nourison Washable Astra Vintage Persian Indoor Flatweave Area Rug

Ok, I read a review where it had a bad smell and I chalked it up to a standard new rug chemical stink. But this was NEXT LEVEL. I tried to air it outdoors, but that did nothing. The best way I can describe it is chemical skunk. I know this sounds dramatic, but I would highly NOT recommend this rug. In other notes, it's maybe a 4/10 softness, and the fabric has a shine which cheapens the look in my opinion. The only thing I did like about it was the colors and design, but I have to say, this rug will not stay in our home. And I'm dreading the 1 hour drive to Target return it with that smell in the car (yikes!).

I like the look of this rug but it is so thin that it will not stay in place. I have tried taping it down and the corners still constantly come up. It has become a great annoyance!

Love the rug, it’s what I’ve been looking to find. So many size options to fit my spaces. It is washable so it’s a little thin, but I added a rug pad.

The smell on this rug is terrible. I thought that maybe my dog peed on it so I took it to the laundry mat to wash it. The edges started to fray and the smell was the same. It is a really weird smell. Sort of like a skunk but worse.

Will not straighten out. The worst part was after having in a room for 30 days the room started to smell literally like a skunk. I had to remove the rug and the carpet beneath it smelled like a skunk. They’re no pets in our home so it was not urine of any kind.

This rug may be washable, but it it’s super thin and the backing is stiff and slippery. It looks cheap and isn’t something I’d use in my house.

This rug is very pretty and I was so excited when I laid it out, but it had a very strong factory smell that didn’t go away after 3 weeks so I decided to return it.

It looks so nice at first. It matted down in a month. I vacuumed it everyday to try and keep it fluffy. Maybe it helped but a month of it looking nice is not enough time for the cost.

Extremely thin and doesn’t lay flat well after a wash even though advertised as washable , pattern is nice and overall very light colors

Rug is pretty , but thin. I have it on top of another ivory rug, which has some stains that I can't remove. It looks very nice.

I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first. It had a weird shine and wrinkle to it. But after even a few weeks out on the floor and it’s great. Easy to clean too!

It’s a nice rug, but the color is not at all how it looks online. It’s much more faded and lighter in person. Will be returning.

Purchased the runner for a hardwood hallway and was looking for something with low pile. Although lovely, the rug was paper thin and the fibers were very shiny making it look cheaper than expected.

Matched the colors I needed for my bathroom perfectly, just looks very shiny and plastic looking. Wish it could’ve been a bit bigger but works for my space

Love this rug!! I was afraid it would be turn out bad, but it came in great condition! My husband says it looks good !!

It looks fine, a little shiny but not terrible. It’s definitely not comfortable or cushy when you step on it. I can’t speak to the quality yet. I ordered the “sage” and it really doesn’t have any sage color to it. I will be returning for that reason. If you’re looking for a cheap neutral rug this one isn’t half bad.

Obsessed is an understatement, can’t beat the price point! I searched for awhile to find a new rug & this one is perfect. Took a few days to flatten out but I love it so much! (purchased in sage multi)
