Q: Can this be cleaned with clorox? Ours is on our back deck that doesnt see much sun in the winter. It stayed wet a lot and now has mildew growth. Thanks!

A: Good morning, First I would like to apologize on the response wait to your question. Our Technical Dept has responded back with the follow: First, ventilate the room by keeping windows and doors open for at least 72 hours. Vacuuming the carpet right after installation and daily cleaning can also help limit the smell. Sprinkling baking soda on the carpet and leaving it for 24 to 48 hours can absorb the smell.

Q: This rug has a terrible off-gassing odor. I purchased a second in hopes that it would be better but it is not. Anytime the sun shines on it, it releases a foul smell. Will washing it outdoors help?

A: The rug must be given the chance to dry on Both sides completely. It should not be left on the floor/ground to get saturated. Long exposure to wet without drying time any outdoor rug will began to smell. s You should have received cleaning instructions stating to air dry both sides and we advise to hang over a banister or somewhere that air can get to the front & back of the rug.

It arrived rolled up the wrong way, meaning it was impossible to unroll without it rolling itself back up. So dumb because usually rugs are rolled so opposite to prevent this. It is frustrating enough to return though it’s a pretty color.

Bought it last week, arrived today. Rolled really tight. Have to hold corners down with paint cans as I am remodeling my lanai. I'll update review during rainy season to see how well it holds up when damp. So far, great value for the price. Hoping it vacuums well too.

I would avoid purchasing this online and actually avoid buying from this vendor entirely. I received this rug, size 9x12 and didn’t like how it looked in my space. Colors were darker than expected, the edges looked cheap so I returned the item in new condition using the mailing address provided. I didn’t even this rug and the return was denied! Brand new condition, rolled out once simply too see how it looked. So this vendor has a brand new rug with $190 of my money. Robbery and VERY disappointing experience from Target. Just bought a new house and was planning to furnish with Target but, I’m all set.

I bought this rug in the Fall and kept to use in the Spring. It’s been one month since I put it on my deck and it’s completely faded out where the sun shines on my deck. Very unhappy with this product. It’s too late to return so I’m out the cost of the rug and the cost of a new one. Do not buy this rug.
