A: The dimensions of each piece are not listed in the assembly instructions, but the largest part is the seat frame, which measures 28.5"W x 29.1"D x 15.9"H. Q: How do you take this apart once it’s been put together to move into a different room?

A: It is generally not recommended that RTA furniture be disassembled and reassembled again, but if you choose to, make sure that you have your instruction manual on-hand, ensure the parts are labeled, and that all hardware is bagged and tagged. We sincerely apologize that the Rocking Chair did not meet your expectations due to the materials, which warrant the inclusion of the California Prop 65 warning label for formaldehyde. We would never want to be misleading about that. Formaldehyde is a bonding agent used within MDF and particleboard, but levels are well below government regulations for both federal and state standards. Certainly, in concentrated forms, it is a carcinogen, however, due to the levels and characteristics of the chemical, it can be found in many everyday products such as furniture, shampoo, and deodorant. Formaldehyde is a natural by-product of cell metabolism, which means that fruits, vegetables, and meats also contain low levels. It is also broken down by air, moisture, and sunlight There are also many antibacterial and preservative properties in this chemical, which is why it is so widely used in manufacturing. Scientific studies show that the relationship between cancer and formaldehyde fumes is due only to frequent, significant, and prolonged exposure; levels you encounter throughout the day while sitting on a chair, pulling clothes from your dresser drawers, or propping your feet on the coffee table are minimal. Beautiful chair but did not come with hollow holes necessary for bolts. The holes were there, but not drilled all the way through, or there at all which was very frustrating. It also isn’t very “rock-able” have to push down on the ground hard enough to get going, or else you’re staying in place. Hope this helps someone. Wouldn’t recommend.

Incredibly frustrated. It’s very comfortable, but upon moving it into the nursery with the carpet it doesn’t rock well on the carpet. Worked great on the sales floor and the hard floor and thin rug in living room but not the carpet in the nursery.

I was looking for an affordable yet modern chair wide enough to comfortably accommodate my hips. This is it! After reading the previous reviews about the difficult assembly I was hesitant but once the chair went on sale and it was in my cart. Some of the screw holes didn’t align well however it wasn’t nearly as hard to assemble as I thought. If I could customize the chair I would want to extend the height of the arms. When nursing I end up using a pillow under my arms for support. I love the fabric, the plushness yet it’s still firm and the fact that my 6 ft tall husband is comfortable too! Overall, for the price (especially when on sale plus our registry discount) it’s totally worth it!

This is actually the second Novogratz Zayne Rocking Chair we purchased from Target. Both in Gray; they are a beautiful stormy sky color that has hid spills and spit-ups so far. We purchased a second to have in our nursery. It is a little wide, but perfect to hold an infant or two comfortably. The chair is sturdy and we feel confident that our children will not tip it over if rocking on it (the rockers are longer to provide stability). We still keep an eye on them, though, nothing is completely safe. We love these rocking chairs.

After 10 days, this chair is definitely comfortable, however, the fabric snags VERY easily and we already need a cover. This is a terrible fabric if you have dogs or cats and even if you don’t, I don’t think the fabric will stand up to a ton of use. The cushions also came with marks that we didn’t notice until after assembling, which was somewhat difficult as others have mentioned as one of the holes doesn’t quite line up correctly.

it was impossible for my husband & me to "slide the back part" of the chair down into the two metal pieces; & place the screws in to secure. you could not get it situated in order for you to put the screws in to hold it, as they did not line up; if my daughter, her husband & 2month old baby were not coming, I would return this chair. Not happy at all with the assembly

The armrest are made of the cheapest material. I have had it for about a month and a half, my baby is one month and as I started to feed her the armrest got a hole from my elbow when I was adjusting my baby on her nursing pillow. Absolute trash and highly disappointed. The chair is so pretty but very cheaply made. NOT DURABLE

I love how comfortable this chair is but the assembly was the most difficult thing. The holes were not drilled properly so pieces did not line up. Was a gigantic headache. Looks great.. time will tell if it was worth it.
