The nuts taste fresh, unsalted and it’s an interesting flavor combo with many benefits beyond flavor. My only crit is that when I am getting to the bottom ⅓ of the bag, I’m left with mainly dried berries and few nuts. It’s been a great snack for Plant Paradox diet and the resealable package is sturdy and perfect size for backpack or lunchbox with several servings. I am considering adding my own dark chocolate to the next bag to round out flavors as the mix of 2 ingredients could benefit from such balance. Will buy again.

Having tried other companies that sell macadamia nuts, I know there is a variation in quality. Now macadamia were evenly roasted and tender with just the right amount of salt. I’ll buy again. Normally I wouldn’t buy 4 bags of an item that I hadn’t tried before but I know from experience the Now company is quality. That’s important to me.

I have purchased these before & they were great. However, this time I opened a bag in March & it said "BEST BY MAY 2020" and they tasted horrible. I knew they were rancid. To be sure, I left the package on the kitchen table & as soon as my daughter tasted one she asked "Are these bad? They do not taste fresh. They have a funny oily smell.). I hate throwing food out; especially, expensive macadamia nuts.

I received my --Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts with Sea Salt-- yesterday, January 17, 2020. These nuts they taste stale — and very rancid. I wrote Now Foods and they stated these nuts were packed in Sept 2019, so they sat in a warehouse for 4 months. The Best by date: September 2020. These are not overly salty as other wrote.

This is an excellent product - - especially if you toast them in a 350° oven for 15 - 18 minutes until lightly browned. Enjoy with your favorite chocolate bar or ice cream.
