They have a really natural taste, not overly sweet, not tough to chew, just that real pineapple flavor that actually feels fresh. Plus, way less sugar than most dried fruits I’ve tried. Even my husband ended up loving them because of how real they taste. They’ve been perfect to take on the go, and we even had them before workouts or runs to give us some clean, natural fuel (plus a little bonus with the bromelain for digestion!). Definitely a new staple for us!

Also, there are not many pineapple rings in the bag, so I don't think they would last very long if you ate them regularly; it would be more of an occasional sweet treat.

When ordering mixes, I find myself picking out the pineapple...so why not get JUST pineapple!? The pros to this variety in particular is that they have no added...anything , really! This is nothing but pineapple and cane sugar! The texture of these is amazing! There's not much moisture there and it definitely isn't tough or jerky like. If you e ever had gem candy, it has that sort of texture. It's just super satisfying! The flavor is good too but it's a bit sweet for me. It tastes like a very, very sweet pineapple. I wouldn't mind lowering the added sugar as I reckon it would taste better a little tangy as fresh pineapple can be. Hence my reasoning for removing one star. Overall, this is a really great option due to the lack of additives/etc. But they are sweet...so if you don't like that, I'm not sure if this is the best option!
