Taurine 1000 mg by Now Foods - 250 Capsule

I take Taurine for cardiovascular support, and am very satisfied with this product.

I have been using Taurine since the summer of 2019, good for the brain.

These work just fine. The price is good, too. I take this in the morning with my other supplements. This bottle will last me 250 days, that's a deal if you ask me!

My Doctor said I needed to increase the amount of taurine I was taking so this does that without having to take more pills.

I have been taking 2 (500 mg) three times a day for several years, so now I can get the same strength with a single tablet, plus the total cost is a bit less.

I have used Taurine forever. I like it a lot. I consider it very valuable in a number of significant areas you can read about in Swanson's product descriptions and other reliable places online (i.e. for the brain, eyes, liver / digestion, nervous system / relaxation), so I take it every day. Depending on my schedule, I either take it in these 1,000 mg. capsules (1 or 2 with dinner), or a tsp of the Powder Form in my Amino Acids cocktail during the day after a workout. Either way, good stuff. I strongly recommend Taurine. Works for me.

Originally I tried Taurine for electrolyte balance for workouts. Then I didn't work out much, but recently found that Taurine is helpful for eyes. I include. Taurine. In my eye care regimen, (a lot of time using computers, also daily/nightly reader-hardcover and Kindle). Seems to be helping with night vision while using Lutein and Eyebright as well.

i use this product before and after I work out, it boost my energy levels to an explosive level. It's cheaper and better than drinking "Monster drinks". It's the active ingredient in those drinks without taking in all the other nonsense ingredients. Plus a bottle last u for a whole month for the price of just 2 cans of " monster drink"!!! "It's a no brainer"

Family works with sports figures. Was told to try Taurine & L Arginine. Books talk about Nitric Oxide with combo. Makes me feel 10 years younger.

Got a tip from some pretty healthy people on this product. I was amazed after probably a week that it was true. I feel years younger and have more energy. When I wake up I don't drag around. Ready to go. Read books on the mixture of this and L-Arginine. I take 2 daily. First rate.

this is good for so many things eyes strenth

When taken in the suggested dose ... a few spread out over the day this really helps calms my nerves.

Since I am a Vegan and do not eat animal products or dairy which are the sources we can get taurine from....it is important that I supplement with taurine. I take only one each day 1000mg. NOW foods is a good brand and Swanson's price is very good.

A great product. Now food's purity no doubt always been reliable. Product works exactly what it promised. Very happy about it.

This is a required ingredient in my dog's multi vitamin/mineral supplement recipe, and this particular brand is vet recommended. Great price! When this bottle is empty soon, I'm going to switch to their Taurine Powder (loose powder in a bottle) so I don't have to keep emptying the capsules!

The capsules are too large to swallow and seem to get stuck in my esophagus. Would recommend a smaller tablet or capsule. Otherwise, product is a good value.

One can Google Taurine and/or read about it in many different places. . . . AND Taurine is utilized in many different places throughout the body, from the retina of the eye, the central nervous system, skeletal muscles, to the production of bile for digestion, and more. On top of that, I find Taurine excellent at promoting a truly restful and lasting night's sleep, which is why I take 3 or 4 of these 1,000 mg. Taurine capsules with my bedtime supplements - - - mostly minerals. That way, I feel that Taurine is doing double duty for me: promoting quality sleep while being utilized throughout my body for rebuilding. After all, that is why we sleep. . . . To stop wearing our body down with daily activities, and allow it to regenerate with whatever nutrients / building blocks are available within our system throughout the night as we sleep. Personally, I really like this product.

Taurine is widespread throughout the body with usage in the liver, heart, eyes, colon, skeletal muscles, and central nervous system. I appreciate its nutritional value throughout my body, which is why I take 3 or 4 of these 1,000 mg. (called double-strength, because most similar type capsules provide 500 mg. of active ingredient) Taurine capsules at bedtime. I choose to take my Taurine at bedtime for two reasons: First, I find Taurine to be restful and an assist at promoting a good, sound night's sleep. . . . And Second, because as one sleeps, the body utilizes nutrients to replenish, rebuild, and regenerate. So in this manner, Taurine is doing double duty for me.

So, what exactly is this stuff supposed to do? I heard it helps "enhance exercise performance." Certainly didn't help me perform better. If anything, my bicycling performance seemed to get worse, not better!
