Nuloom Dorene Contemporary High-Low Striped Wool Indoor Area Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to write this because first I love it, it is heavy with a good material like no other rug but I don’t know if it’s something about the material is made of but mine started getting a yellow spot when I wasnt even using yet. So I tried ti washed it but didn’t come off and now I send it to wash to two different places and they said they tried everything but the yellow spot keeps getting bigger, so do not wash this rug.

The rug sheds excessively. Every time I vacuum or even walk across it, fibers come off, creating a mess around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug was beautiful when I first got it and I loved that it made from natural fibers. The high low gives my living room some texture and makes it overall more fun despite being a neutral color. However, it’s been 2 months since I’ve owned it and this thing is incredibly hard to maintain. I am constantly vacuuming it which is not good I don’t think because it sucks up so much of the wool fibers. Second, debris gets stuck in it very easily. And it’s SO HARD to get it out. You’re supposed to shake the rug to get debris off. With the way it is collecting debris, I would have to do that at least monthly and with my heavy coffee table it’s an unlikely task. Lastly, parts of the rug have unraveled as seen in photos. All in all, not a fan. Hope to replace soon because it’s driving me insane cleaning it every day. I literally will take a lint roller to it. If you HAD to get this rug, make sure it will be in a low traffic area.

This rug looks beautiful, but it sheds constantly even after being vacuumed many times. I returned it before it got much use, but the ridges would make it impossible to keep clean.

We selected a simple, classic neutral striped runner that brightens up our dimly-lit upstairs hallway while adding a thick, soft padding over our hardwood floors. The texture of this rug is great! Its varied weave makes it look expensive and luxurious, and the wool feels lovely underfoot. Our three small dogs also approve: they now love zooming up and down the hallway with this rug in place. The durable material has held up well to their little claws, however it does not stay in place when they get the zoomies, so you'll need to invest in a rug pad or non-slip strips if that's a concern in your household. Of all the color choices, this one felt the freshest to me. I wish there were more bright, colorful options for those of us with artsier taste! However I'm very happy with the Dorene pattern we selected. It is light, bright, and looks very natural and classy, to suit most any decor style. At the end of the day, the limited color choice is definitely worth the compromise for the quality I received. I would definitely recommend this product to others looking for an elegant, stylish, comfortable, and durable floor covering.
