Product is oeko tek cerified but it reeked a chemical smell when taken out of the box. We've been trying to air it out before putting it in the nursery room for our baby but don't feel safe to do so. Also I wish I saw the other low reviews, the photos are deceiving because it's not as dense. Without even touching it you can easily see the backing of the rug. It's like looking at a colorful scalp. Save your money and invest in a nicer one. The colors are pretty but the quality is not there. I think something like this is only useful for staging purposes and not real life like our baby's nursery.

The colors and design are both so pretty! Unfortunately, the rug is thin and I noticed a problem with the edging right out of the package. This rug reminds me of buying inexpensive beach towels - they'll look great for a minute, but will be completely beat up by the end of the season. This one is unfortunately going back.

This rug is horribly made. The quality is so poor. The fabric is not soft; it's "scratchy." The photos are deceiving. The pile is actually long and thin, but the photos make it look shorter and more dense. The photo with the ruler is inaccurate. The only redeeming quality of this rug is the vibrant colors. We are very upset with this purchase and will be returning.

Love this rug for my son's room. It's so fluffy and the colors are gorgeous. The long shaggy pile does allow for some visibility to the bottom when you run your fingers through it but it's not noticeable otherwise. I love it.

Great modern rug fits my space perfectly. Vivid colors. Not super dense so sometimes when the shag lays over in a spot you can see the backing or base of the rug. Still, very happy with the look.
