[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the shag is so thin that you can see the dark backing that it woven to. there is only one carpet string - which is hooked to the weaved foundation mat, down and up producing two carpet fibers. there is just those two strands for every 8 weaves of the foundation. you’ll never get the chance to complain that your visitors left the welcome mat threadbare - you know, overstayed their welcome, as this shag rug is in that condition straight out of the package. see photos

It is very cheaply made. You can see through the rug where it connects with the burlap or the lining underneath I have laid it out and try to make it flat by some weights. I have vacuumed it and it looks literally so cheap, I threw all the wrapping away and it would be hard for me again to take it back to a UPS or FedEx store but I’m very disappointed in this product. It’s extremely see-through and very cheap. I would definitely like a replacement with some thing a little bit thicker the last one I bought from you was absolutely perfect. This one is horrible.

What a disappointment. The rug is damaged. The shag is only on the center. And i have to hassle printing a label, rewrapping the rug and drive 30 minutes to a ups. I actually am waiting for 2 more in a different color and hesitate to open to find them damaged too. Just when i loved ordering from target the most. Now i will never order on line from target again. I will delete my account. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO RETURN THIS WHICH IS TRASH. YOU CANNOT RESALE IT THIS WAY.

(we will be adding color via cute jungle animals) The shag is soft to the touch. It is not as dense as would be ideal, but given the reasonable price, I'm not surprised. I did not order a pad because we ordered a Large rug, but it is really easy to feel the hardness of the floor under the shag, so I will be buying some sort of padding in the future since this is a child's room.

This rug is everything you would think it is. The rug has a little shag to it. The color is great. The rug is thin and is not really fluffy but I really didn't expect it to be for the price. I use the rug under my bed to rub my feet on before it get into bed since I have laminate floors and debris tends to be on the bottom of my feet after walking the house.
