I wanted this rug for its vibrant colors. In person the colors are far more muted. It doesn’t really fit the color scheme I was going for, and is way more faded/pastel than I can easily work with. Not particularly soft, either. I can knock on my floor through it.

I gave four stars instead of five because the actual color of the rug is probably only 50% as vivid as the online image shows. When you first receive it, it almost seems white...that passes as the rug fluffs up. We have had our rug for a couple of months now and I do love it...but I am very easy going currently when it comes to decorating. If I were really sinking a lot of money into everything, I likely wouldn’t have been satisfied with the end result since it does vary greatly from what it looks like online. If you are worried that it may be too “loud”, you’ll be happy to see it is considerably “muted” in color.

I spent a lot of time searching online for the perfect rug to fit the design style, budget, & color scheme in our family room & I’m thrilled I found this one! I was hesitant at first because I wasn’t sure the colors would match up but I couldn’t pass up the great sale plus free shipping & I can honestly say it’s perfect! Even prettier in person! Definitely rich in gold, orange, pink, & blue with hints of burgundy. I was excited to receive it along with the rug pad just a few days after I placed the order. I feel the rug pad is necessary as it is a thinner rug. We like to lounge on the floor to play games & the kids & I feel it’s very soft & cozy. I placed some heavy books along the edge for a few hours after unrolling it to flatten the curl & that did the trick. I’d highly recommend this rug!
