First, I never do reviews, but this time it was necessary. This rug would have been beautiful had it not come folded up and wrapped in plastic. There were so many fold marks that will never come out. Buyers, beware! I will be returning.

The rug color was pretty and size was perfect but the extremely poor packaging ruined it. This large 8 x 10 rug was folded in half and in a box half its size. After being rolled out and open 3 days there’s still a huge wrinkle/stretched out area that won’t go away. Included picture of bend carpet roll and box it came in.

Purchased the rug and it looked fine, however it came with a very weird smell. It smells strongly like dirt and dust, almost like it sat in a dirty warehouse for years. It even made us sneeze and I couldn’t deal with the smell anymore so I rented a carpet cleaner. Ive had it for less than a month, and the water from the carpet cleaner came out dark brown, and we don’t wear shoes in the house. The carpet cleaner didn’t work because the smell is still there.

The size and soft texture of the rug are great and it seems like good quality. Vacuums nicely. The item photos appear like there’s vivid black accents but it’s not like that in person at all, I purchased this thinking it would be darker. Lastly, the chemical smell in this rug is insane. It’s been 5 days and it’s still a distinct odor. It’s pretty but not exactly what I hoped for.
