I was so disappointed by these. 1. they don’t taste at all like chocolate chip cookies 2. the consistency is dry in your mouth but they’re not hard… it’s almost a stale feeling. 3. they have a sour taste to them that could be attributed to the use of whey/ totally unnecessary milk ingredients. These could’ve been great if they’d gone with a simpler formula that more people could enjoy, so I wish Nutri-grain had gone plant-based on this one. I tried to give it a chance but they’re flat out nasty. I couldn’t finish one, they’re that bad that I had to spit it out. Not good. Idk if the whey was in their ‘special’ chocolate chips but regular semi-sweet chips would’ve been good. It tasted like old milk chocolate that started separating. The issue here is re-inventing the wheel… I wanted to taste a chocolate chip cookie, not a sweet and sour powdered milk protein biscuit.

I’m not a fan of it but I don’t hate it. Love that they’re soft and chewy. These little bags were perfect to throw in my hydration vest to snack on during my run.

The flavor reminds me somewhat of a mix between Fig Newton and protein chocolate chip cookies. There is just enough per pack to make a low calorie snack, and the added protein helps make it quite filling. My only real complaint is that it would be better if they were more moist. Very much recommend giving them a try!

They are also a good source of protein. As for the negative I just couldn’t get past the texture. I am not a fan how how they taste. These are super soft and break very easily so they have this weird texture; that was my issue. I wanted to love these as I love the nutrí grain bars but unfortunately they weren’t for me.

These are so easy to put in my bag so I can grab a snack on the go. The taste is quite pleasant and a single ingredient isn’t overpowering.
