We needed another dog food for our 10 year old Terrier since the manufactor of the dog food she had been eating changed the formula. We tried so many and she would not eat them. I bought this one as recommended by my vet and she loved it. We are amazed how much more personality she has and fun loving way she interacts with us. It is amazing. WOW!

Our 11 year old Goldendoodle has been eating Nutro food since she was a puppy—best dog food on the market. Like that there is a senior option available to purchase at Target and avoid going to a specialty pet store.

We noticed our dog was having food sensitivity to another brand and after doing some research, we gave this brand a go and she LOVES it. Her skin issues have cleared up somewhat, and we ended up getting her a special shampoo. Kept buying the food, and she doesn’t have to spit out the pieces she doesn’t like!

Our dogs have been eating Nutro for the last 15 years. It's great on their coats. We had a golden that lived to the age of 14 and now have an Aussie that's almost 13 with no health issues. Highly recommend it

Dogs like it, since all the pieces are the same size, shape and color, the dogs do not pick thru and only eat the prices they like. The food does not smell good but that seems to be true of most dog food

Great food, the dog thought otherwise

I has transitioned my dog to this food over the past month or so using small bags. This particular recipe is only available in the large bags. Decided to buy one since he fully transitioned over to the brand. Couple days in he decided it was no longer worthy. Hot water added, wet food added, even tried bone broth. He refused to eat it. I love this brand and I wish my dog wasn’t so picky. Absolutely nothing wrong with Nutro, I will still recommend this food to any senior dog owner. The only problem is my dog being as picky as a 5 year old child…

It’s very spendy but my dog tolerates it very well. It doesn’t smell bad and give options as far as weight and age, which fluctuates.

    No more skin allergies

When my dog was young I discovered he had skin allergies and my vet said his food could be the cause (specifically avoid wheat, soy and dairy). We tried several top dog foods at the time, but Nutro remains to be the one that works best for him. He is a boarder collie and Nutro supported his high energy lifestyle. Now he is a 17 year old senior in great health and I trust Nutro provides the nutrients he needs to support his joints and digestion.

    HE LIKES IT!

I had found on the side of the highway at about 5 weeks old a german shepherd pup. He was just lying there as we approached, assuming he was dead, but when we drove by he moved. We immediately stopped, and after looking around to make certain he was alone, we took him home. He was not well, he was starving, he had worms so bad that they were coming out of his mouth and his behind, along with a body full of dog lice. The vet did not think he was going to make it. Well, today he is 14.5 years old. He was a fighter and he was brought up on NUTRO. I tried it, and stayed on it for his coat was so shiny and his energy levels were high. Other than his rough start to life, he has proven to be a beautiful and healthy boy! For a few years now he has been on senior and is starting to show his age. I know what he eats is not everything but it certainly helps.....I love you NAKODA!!

Finicky Pups & Long Time Preferred!

I've been using Nutro products for over 20 years now, way before it became popular in the pet stores. Then there were fewer choices and the dominant ones were Iams & Science Diet. But since it was all natural & the first few ingredients weren't corn or grains it made sense to not pay the extra. Now, I feel that is, even more, the case. Why pay for all the fancy advertising? I also became the owner of rescued Chihuahuas. They proved to be even pickier than my previous pups. (Poodle, Yorkie & Lhasa Apso) Nutro was has been the preferred kibble over anything else we tried!!

I have also fed my 11 year old Corgi Nutro from the time she was a pup and is still extremely active, healthy and has a beautiful coat. Just started our 9 week old beagle pup on the puppy formula. Wouldn't feed my pups any other brand

I always feed my dogs Nutro. my Chihuahua/doxie mix was allergic to everything. when I went to PetSmart the Nutro representative was there and explained why nutro was so good. That was 10 years ago, and now my little guy eats the senior, the price is a bit high, but when I look at the ingredients, and can pronouce everything in there then it reminds me what good dog food is.

    Senior formula

Been giving our dog the adult chicken and brown rice for a long time and really pleased with it untill we tried the senior formula. It has made him vomit all of it back up everytime we feed him. He has been chewing alot of grass and very thirsty. The food smells bad...smells fishy. I took the bag back to the store we bought it from. Got a refund and bought the original kind from Nutro. I don't know if this was just a bad bag or what but I will never buy that kind again.
