As soon as I opened the bag he was so curious and dug right into the food. I like that it is a mix of proteins and healthy ingredients I would see on my own plate/shopping cart.

I am always hesitant to try new food, but we've heard great things about Nutro. I'm so glad I took a chance because my pup loves her new kibble and hasn't experienced any new skin allergies. Only improvements would be to have resealable packaging.

She only eats kibble that are small enough for her, and these really are great for small breeds. Shes typically very picky, but took well to these. Just make sure to mix it with your pups old food to help them adjust!

There is a trio of proteins: chicken, lamb and salmon. The list of wholesome ingredients is extremely impressive ( whole grain brown rice, oatmeal, protein from salmon.egg/chicken/lamb) flaxseed, apples, blueberries, kale, spinach, carrots, tomato, coconut and pumpkin. Your dog gets a boost to their immunity from the Vitamin E and Selenium. Dogs gets a healthy cost and skin from the Omega 3 and fatty acids. Energy from the fat and carbs coupled with muscle growth from the protein. Both our dogs thoroughly enjoyed this food and their bowls were clean! I did soak the pellets in warm water to soften it for one of my dogs who is older and has some missing teeth. NO corn, soy or wheat, NO artificial ingredients and NO chicken by products. Nutro is the dog kibble WE would make for our fur babies if we could make our own dog food.

To a point where she can’t get enough, it’s small and she eats fast so I had to put it in a kong, I used it for treats and training which worked really well. I didn’t feel like I gave her too much. So small issue, she had some stinky farts with this kibble. Her coat is beautiful though and she didn’t throw up, which is normal most the time. So I did enjoy that.

I am impressed by the good clean ingredients in the dog food, and it’s a a brand I trust, and a brand my dog enjoys. I only gave 4 stars because it is a little pricy but worth the peace of mind that I’m giving my dog something that’s good for him.

He basically swallowed the small pellets whole. We were hoping for crunching or munching but nope, We prefer some teeth action, but at least he didn’t get the pellets stuck which he often does when he eats too fast.

I mixed in with their old food and they actually picked this first then the other food. I like all the benefits of the superfoods and would try other dry food from this brand in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nutro Ultra dog food was shipped and it took 5 months to come! The package is not resealable, however I have a container I hold my dogs food in. If you don't have one then I would suggest obtaining a container so the food won't go stale. It smells like any other dog food with natural ingredients. My dog did seem to love it so I do give this product Props in that area.
