Q: I am looking to purchase this for the upper 1/3 of my walls in my powder bath of a new build house. They sprayed a light orange peel when painting the whole house. Will this wallpaper stick to that?

A: This is a great question. NuWallpaper works best on a smooth, non-textured surface. You'll have better results on a wall with texture like an eggshell versus a wall with texture like an orange peel. This stuff is adorable, but it will not stay stuck to my boring, flat, untextured walls. Huge bummer. I think I’ll find a similar style that’s pre-pasted.

Very easy to install and forgivable pattern. It repeats every 18in or so, so there was very little waste. It’s held up perfectly in a dramatic weather change and after 2 months in a home with littles. Our wall doesn’t get very much sun so I cannot speak to color fading, but the quality is thick and feels like proper wallpaper. Can’t say enough good things. We love it and so does everyone else who’s seen it in our home!

First timer here. So glad i used this one! There’s about 8 different pieces on my half bath wall, and its not noticeable! Yay! I peeled and reattached a few times and it’s held up so far. One day later. I didn’t use an xacto knife and i should’ve. But I’m not gonna dwell on the edges right now. Who has the time. I want to do some kind of white on the other walls since the original beige clashes with this! Removing the towel rack and the ugly mirror next ;) perfect first timer project.

Overall it looks great on the wall.... so long as you're not a perfectionist. Be prepared to buy extra rolls. The pattern is such a way that leaves a lot of waste, especially if you have to go around doors. You get two good strips on a plain wall. I bought 4 rolls and can safely say every other strip is wildly mismatched. I've already got most of my hallway finished and I'm forced to buy another roll or two. I like it, I'll deal, but it's a lot of money for what you get, and what you waste.
