Nylabone Dura Chew Textured Ring - Flavor Medley

My dog adores this chew toy ring! It lasted a year before he chewed it up. Bought a new one $7 with free 2-day priming. He loves it again! Great for dogs to hold with paw while chewing. Highly recommend for all chewers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1 year old Australian shepherd/ German shepherd/ blue heeler mix is a "super chewer". Fabric plush toys last about 10 minutes around her, and she can even tear up hard rubber toys too, given enough time. She has yet to destroy this Nylabone chew ring. Yes, there are teeth marks, but it still has lots of chewing left in it. It is a hard nylon material, so she loves to drop it on the hardwood floor to get my attention. It is supposedly flavored, but it doesn't smell weird or anything.

It is flavored to get the dog to chew on it. It is made well so it won’t get chewed or but into pieces. Good for dogs that like to chew, so they will leave the things around your house alone.

She’s been gnawing on it for two weeks now. I suspect it will last for a long time. The ring shape makes it a great tug toy as well and I am confident that all those raised nubs will help keep her teeth clean. I like that it is recommended by veterinarians and especially like that it is made in the USA. I am with the veterinarians and recommend this chew toy for your dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, so far my American bullydog isn't really impressed with this toy. I'm not sure if it's too heavy for him, or maybe the scent/flavor isn't strong enough, but he's only touched it a few times very briefly before moving on to another toy. Now my Australian Cattle dog he loves this toy and he is a mini. I dont know if he likes the shape but he takes it and throws it up in the air, just watch your toes on the landing Regardless, it's still a tough toy, and my pup doesn't ignore it entirely, so it was a worthwhile buy. This one doesn't hurt quite as much to accidentally step on too, so that's nice! This is great for dogs that chew compulsively. My most avid chewer hasn't managed to even make a dent in this yet. But it's also perfect for dogs that lick compulsively. One of my Siberian Huskies is super orally fixated and if she isn't grooming herself she is constantly licking her toys, her crate, whatever she can get to her mouth. This is great because it's flavored and textured! She will hold it with her front paws and just lick it until she wears herself out. She doesn't chew it but as long as she is having fun and not licking the furniture I don't care. I have three dogs so I tested this item on all three and its going to stick around for while

My dog immediately took it and settled down into a time of very focused chewing. It kept her attention for a considerable amount of time, and she takes it with enthusiasm whenever I re-introduce it to her.

He took to it immediately and after a few weeks, the ring still holds up really well with hardly any missing pieces. This tells me alot about the quality because my guy has a super strong jaw. I got this ring as a way to help them have something to chew on that would be durable but also help their breath. Unfortunately, the toy is not as durable as I thought it would be. my dogs have already managed to put a decent dent into it. there are no pieces missing as of now but there are a lot more bite marks than I thought there would be. This would make a great toy for a dog that is not a super chewer. Another good note, this toy does not have a significant smell to it. It does not smell like plastic or any artificial smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a big ole Chocolate lab that I wouldn’t quite say has a chewing problem.. but he does have a restless personality and likes to pace the floor or play all the time. This chewing ring has really helped him to settle down some. He loved it from the moment I gave it to him. He really goes to town chewing on it and it is still in great shape with around 2 weeks of daily use.

(Although part of the reason it's lasted so long is that it doesn't seem to be a favorite toy for our dog.) I like the ring shape a lot though, because it's easy to throw and it rolls across the lawn really far for our dog to chase.

Since receiving the Nylabone Power Chew, he destroys less. He spends hours chewing it and after two weeks it still has a lot of life left on it. The Nylabone bone is made very well and is extremely durable. It’s definitely made for an aggressive chewer.
