NyQuil Severe Cold & Flu Original Liquid - 12 fl oz

It made getting through each day easier by helping me deal with symptoms rather than suffering. It's a great product that works well, and can be used along with NyQuil at nighttime for better sleeping. It was my first time trying DayQuil because usually I just deal with symptoms during the day, but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it is now a medication I am going to keep on hand.

I had received this product free from NyQuil™/ DayQuil™ to try out and though I'd try a dose of NyQuil SEVERE Berry Cold & Flu Relief. Not only did it quell my cough but it allowed me to get a full night's rest. I woke up feeling much better the next morning. I'd recommend this to anyone dealing with a cold and cough that's keeping them up. Great new product! I'll make this my go to cold med now!

I was hoarse, sneezing, coughing, and at night I would cough so hard that I would develop a banging headache and couldn't sleep. In the morning I was barely able to get up to get the kids off to school and I definitely had to take a sick day from work. I remembered that I received some free samples of Max Strength NyQuil/DayQuil Severe Cold & Flu from Vicks and decided, since I had not gotten any sleep, to take a dose of the Berry Flavor NyQuil...which tasted like any other strong cough medicine...gross! I don't remember falling asleep but I do remember waking up about 5 hours later! I was still sick but at least I was rested...and now groggy. So I took a dose of the DayQuil, and by the time the kids got home from school I was feeling SO MUCH BETTER. So that night I fell asleep with the help of my Berry Flavor NyQuil and I was able to wake up the next morning not feeling groggy at all and I felt good enough to go to work with the help of a dose of my DayQuil. I'm sure had I not had the NyQuil/DayQuil I would have not gotten over my cold so fast. Max Strength NyQuil/DayQuil Severe Cold & Flu is now a staple in my medicine cabinet.

The night version of the Nyquil Severe stopped my worst symptoms and gave me the much needed boost for a good nights rest. I also have to mention the flavor of the liquid wasn't bad compared to other brands I've used before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the most important thing a cold/flu remedy can do is live up to it's claims. I've never had a time when Nyquil has not done just that. The Nyquil Sever Berry cold & flu relief really does calm your symptoms and help you get a full night sleep. It helps dull the aches and pains so you can get some uninterrupted(by your symptoms at least) rest. The best part is the flavor isn't off putting. It does taste medicinal but, ya know, it is a medicine. That being said, it's pleasant enough to get down and doesn't make your mouth regret it's existence. But it works so well that the flavor is just a perk. Generics can work, but not as reliably as Nyquil. It's always my first choice and always worth the extra dollar or so.

Speaking from past experience, however, I know that this brand of cold medicine is not for me. It consistently makes me drowsy and jittery. I do not recommend this medicine, but who knows, maybe it works for you!

Nyquil relieves my stuffiness so I can breathe and wake up well-rested. NyQuil SEVERE Berry Cold & Flu Relief Liquid has a pleasant taste. You can tell it's medicine, but it goes down easy, coating and soothing the throat. True to form, my favorite cough & cold remedy works like a charm. I got to try this one for free but I will gladly pay for it the next time. It's worth every penny!

This DayQuil and NyQuil really saved me life to be able to attend my job and daily routines and help me sleep at night. I sounded horrible in the beginning and couldn't breath from my nose or smell anything. Thanks to the NyQuil and DayQuil i was able to get over the cold in just two days.

It helped me sleep uninterrupted throughout the night, which was wonderful and I did not wake up feeling like I had a medication hangover like you do with some nighttime medications. I was skeptical of the flavor as berry is not my first choice and generally means strawberry which I hate but I found this to be alright, not too strong. I gave it to my daughter when she developed a cough and even she did not complain about the taste although she was up coughing again in about 4 hours and needed another dose.

I woke up feeling get l refreshed after taking the NyQuil and then I took the DayQuil to get me through the day. I didn't have that slow feeling and for the work done I needed to accomplish. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked perfectly on me when I had gotten a cold but when a family member was visiting me and had caught it they tried the syrup. Unfortunately seemed to have little to no effect on them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing! When I went traveling, I caught a cold and needed to recover as soon as possible. I am glad that I had it because it helped me very quick. it took 2 hours- 3 hours to effect well. I thought this was quicker than tablets. but it might be same effect as tablets. the taste is very sweet and bitter. It made me disgust after I tasted, but it was ok after all. my cold went away next morning. I would recommend it for everyone! I wish they make a TSA approved travel size of liquid type.

I did have a cold recently and I took both products, the daytime formula kept my symptoms at bay all day and the nighttime formula helped me quiet my symptoms during the night so I could get some sleep, a great combination when you aren't feeling well
