A: Hello Taleen! Despite the plastic-coated appearance of the Line Loud Vegan Longwear Lip Liner, it can be sharpened with a cosmetic sharpener. Our NYX Dual Sharpener would be a great product to use! For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results. I bought this liner in a different color after losing the 1st one I bought. The color was perfect however the product sucks. It took me FOREVER to get the wrapping off and my very 1st use the tip broke off!! I tried sharpening it and nothing and this liner wasn’t cheap considering I only half used it. Total disappointment and waste of money!!

Bold, sleek packaging, creamy with Hella staying power! This shade is Goal Getter, and she was so easy to apply. I used a setting spray to lock it in place and it lasted such a long time. It's so pigmented, doesn't drag and is a dream to use.
It works well and have a nice feel on you lips jus

this lip liner really holds up it’s also really pigmented it does tend to be a little chunky but it’s not too bad the shade no wineing is the perfect deep purple red color

The best stay on creamy lip liners EVER! I even use the lightest shades. I have tried the top ten. Didn't even compare. I love it so much I bought in bulk. A little tough to sharpen, but sooo worth it. Doesn't come off with food, tea, or...yum...kissing!

I bought 2 different shades of these lip liners and wanted to try out how “long lasting” they actually are. The texture is very creamy, and they take a little longer to set so I have time to blend it out a little for a more ombré effect. What I didn’t like is that when I put a gloss on top, the liner immediately started to wipe away and look splotchy. If it is long lasting, the liner should last with all different types of lip products. I don’t recommend if you like to line with glosses but if you use matte lipsticks then it would probably work better with this formula. It didn’t smell, the packaging was like any other lip liner, and it had good color deposit, just not my favorite.

RIDICULOUS!!! Impossible to sharpen, the product it’s self is so soft it just breaks off and the thing around it is like plastic! It literally BROKE my makeup sharpener!!! So sad, cause the product itself works but you only get like 2/3 day use….. i really need a refund. I feel like i wasted my money and i don’t even know if its possible to return a broken product. SO disappointed

Color is nice, but it’s impossible to sharpen. The tips break off, creating significant product waste. The smaller the pencil is the worse it is to sharpen. You’ll never get that fresh straight tip again.

I bought this and was so excited to go home and use it. I spent 5-minutes taking the plastic wrapping off, placed it against my lips and the entire top piece snapped off. Do not buy this!

I bought this liner in "no wine-ing" to pair with a nude lipstick. The color and the feel is amazing. It takes a bit or work to blend with the lipstick but overall I like it and will continue to use it. However with the first use, the tip broke with very little pressure. I also went to sharpen it and it was difficult even with a sharp blade. I found you have to scratch the plastic coating near the tip just for the liner to catch in the sharpener, which is what I did with a knife (don't recommend to try, but be careful if you do). It didn't sharpen to a point after about 4 passes before it wouldn't sharpen again, but it's still useable. This would be better as a retractable liner, but if it was easier to sharpen, the rating would be higher.
