With a child with dairy and nut allergies, we are so thankful Target sells Oatly ice cream! This is the ONLY ice cream that we can trust to be dairy free and nut free and ALSO manage to be creamy and delicious. Rich and thick, creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. As an added bonus, if that's your thing, it's completely Vegan. I love and trust Oatly brand products to be a delicious dairy and nut product alternative for our family, and enjoying it!

Can taste difference in ice cream with mint I also could but with chocolate it has a funny taste and also lacks strong chocolate flavor to make it more like reg ice cream

This is one of the worst non-dairy chocolate ice creams I’ve ever had. The texture was nice and creamy but the chocolate flavor was lacking. It was a very mild chocolate, it had almost an alcohol taste. Overall, I would not recommend. There’s a lot of good non-dairy ice cream products out there, don’t waste your money on something that’s just eh.

First of all, I LOVE Oatly and have been drinking their Oatmilk (full fat & regular) loyally for years now. The chocolate milk itself is delicious, so I don't know where things went wrong with this product. This is like the burnt Starbucks coffee of vegan ice cream. It’s not sweet-tasting enough to justify it containing 55 gs of sugar in a pint. It also made me cough, telltale personal sign of too much sugar without a balance of other ingredients. The caramel so far is the only flavor worth repeating, having tried the coffee, which, despite its decent taste, inevitably kept me from sleep due to its caffeine. (The only issue there being there’s not enough caramel swirl, and you can't get it at Target.) Skip the chocolate. It's worth trying if you must, but it really does taste like burnt ice cream and doesn't have nearly as nice a consistency as the caramel.

You know it's good when you're sorely tempted to consume the entire container in one shot. Just remember that vegan doesn't mean nutritious as there's plenty of sugar in this decadent delight.

Pricey but delicious! It is hard to find nondairy ice cream and this is amazing, awesome flavor and very decadent chocolate. Definitely worthy of a splurge from time to time.

Absolutely Delicious, but 55G of sugar per container?! The texture and flavor are phenomenal. It truly is an awesome alternative to regular ice cream, but I had to eat it over four days to feel better about that sugar intake.

I recently had this at a work function and was blown away by how real it tasted. Perfectly rich and creamy with no strange aftertaste. Found it on sale at my Target and bought two.

I’m a huge lover of this company’s oat milk. This ice cream has a very good texture like real ice cream, but tastes…weird. Very strange aftertaste that makes me put it back after I eat a bite or two.

The texture and flavor get a 10 out of 10, my only complaint is the aftertaste.

This is one of the best vegan chocolate ice creams I’ve tried! 100% recommend. Tastes a little fudgey, not too sweet, no weird aftertaste like I’ve had with others.
