Shame on me for not reading the label before buying. Instead I ended up tasting that horrible fake aftertaste. Lesson (re)learned: Always stick to the shorter, simpler ingredients list.

Misleading label. Would not have purchased if I was aware that 50% less sugar meant the addition of the artificial sweetner SUCRALOSE.

I just purchased and used on my green (mixed spring) salad . They are fantastic. Nice and blimp ,not hard dried. They will be a nice treat on zero sodium oatmeal and in plain Greek yogurt.

Dear Ocean Spray, how dare you trick your consumers in thinking you had “no artificial” written on the front of your bag then proceed to have sucralose added to the ingredients?? How about clearly adding “Artificially Sweetened” on the front of your bag rather than “Less Sugar” which we all clearly thought when purchasing the bag?? Purchased these for the first time in a while to use in a cookie recipe, never expected to have been deceived by one of my favorite cranberry companies. After getting caught up with other reviews, you clearly continue not caring. Now I have a gigantic bag that I have to either throw away or inconveniently go back to the store and stand on an endless line to return!
Just throw them out

I guess I missed the memo that they just added fake sugar. The taste disgusting.
Great taste and texture; wish they didn't use Sucralose

I really like the taste and texture of these. I don't buy regular Craisins because they are loaded with sugar and calories. These are a nice compromise. I often grab a small handful when I want something sweet. That said, I would much prefer Ocean Spray use Stevia as the sweetener for these. That would bring this product up to five stars.

Says less sugar, but then loaded up with artificial sweeteners. This is not right.

i too was fooled by the labeling. I thought I was buying something that simply just had less sugar but this product has an artificial sweetener. The after taste is disgusting and I had digestive issues after eating. How disappointing.

I like the taste of the low sugar Craisins although don’t want artificial sugar in my diet. Removing with Stevia could be an option.

My diabetic Mom loves them in chicken salad & Ceasar salads. I appreciate the lower sugar and the ability to eliminate unnecessary sugar from the diet. My young niece likes him straight out of the bag. If people wanna taste a mouthful of sugar, then they should go back to the regular ones, but please don't just continue these they're a lifesaver being a little sweet and once menu. I I'm not diabetic and enjoy mixing them with roasted peanuts for a quick sweet n salty snack.
50% less sugar should NOT mean artificially sweet

When people buy something because it says "50% less sugar" it's because we're trying to cut down on or avoid sugar altogether. We do NOT want other sweeteners being added to the product. We expect the 50% less sugar craisins to be more tart. Frankly, I wish Ocean Spray would not only offer a true "50% less sugar" product (without any other added sweeteners), but I'd love a completely unsweetened version of craisins (no sugar or sweeteners of any kind). I'll bet I'm not the only customer that feels this way.
What a disappointment

Though these have less conventional sugar, they are then over sweetened with Sucralose (which frankly I am avoiding, along with all the other artificial sweeteners). I, for one, long for the natural sharp tartness that cranberries have, but is being masked by the addition of too much sugar or sugar/sweetener combined. Please please please provide truly unsweetened cranberries for those of us who are working so hard to reduce our intake of sugar, and do not sweeten them for us with artificial sweeteners - we can choose the sweetener of our choice if we feel the need to add sweetness.

I was excited to buy craisins that have less sugar and even 50% less sugar. After I tasted the product, I sensed a funny note and read the ingredients to find it's sucralose. That's really so misleading to a consumer. I don't want fake sugar in my body! That's really not ok. If you are using less sugar then it behooves you to make the consumer aware that you are substituting sugar with something else. Aside from me noticing the off-taste, I don't want to ingest fake sugar ever. Why can't you just make Craisins with 50% less sugar? I would enjoy that and I would prefer the tartness than all the sugar and I certainly don't want you deceiving me by substituting fake sugar. I'm very disappointed.

Your packet says No Artificial Flavors. Seems like an outright lie to me. When you read the fine print it says the packet contains Sucralose. Sucralose is a chemical compound. It’s artificial. It’s a flavor enhancer. Why fool the customer?

Sugar messes with my gut, but artificial sweetener messes with my gut more....I was hoping to add this to my morning bowl of oatmeal and my granola batches but when I saw the amount of sugar added I looked to the reduced sugar option. I was hoping for a super tart cranberry and instead got a bunch of artificial sweeteners. Please offer JUST dried cranberries. Maybe even the half sugar with no other sweeteners added to disguise the tartness? I can't consume any Ocean Spray products until this mislabel is fixed.

The nutrition panel on the less-sugar Craisins claims that a quarter cup has a whooping 10 gm of fiber. If you look up generic dried cranberries, you find most fiber amounts are more like 2-4 gms. What gives? I also hadn't realized the "less sugar" meant added Sucralose. My bad for not studying the nutrition label. I won't be buying them again.

Why can't you make craisins that are just LESS SUGAR? Fake sugar tastes horrible. Fake sugar does not equate less sugar. Label it correctly.

I was happy to see "Less Sugar". Figuring they would be more tart but found out they contain Sucralose which I am allergic to. After a few hours my nausea went away.

Really disappointed to find this has sucralose in it. Sour cranberries, no sugar or sweeteners, I found at a small company/farm taste better than these with the sucralose after taste. I just want less sugar, not sugar substitutes.

Hi Lady Chaos, Cranberries are naturally tart and therefore, require some additional sweetening in order to be enjoyed! We've shared your feedback with the appropriate team.
