Because it doesnt lather, the product doesn't spread so I had oily parts underneath the top area. Fixed the issue by spot shampoo'ing which is really time consuming & inconvenient. Always focused mainly on scalp but ends always ended up reallyyyy drying out, doing nothing for my curls (absolutely no definition) instead probably harming them. You're better off with OGX or Maui

This is my favorite curl shampoo! I have purchased other, more expensive (like way more) curl shampoos but I keep coming back to this one. The only thing I don't like is how thick it is. I add water to it and shake otherwise I have to use both hands to squeeze it out.

I couldn't even get through half of the bottle it was so bad. It would leave a residue on my scalp that I had to pick and scratch off.

This is definitely not a suddsy shampoo but I like that it isn't, meaning it mostlikelyisn't stripping and drying out. I hadn't cleansed my hair for 3 day's, with product in my hair...curls. I was worried about reviews stating it left greasiness in their hair, but I didn't experience that at all. I treated it like a cleansing conditioner and started from my ends to my scalp. Rubbed my scalp area for 3-4 minutes to be sure I thoroughly got problem areas even. Made sure I washed it out, again making sure to rub the scalp, my hair was not greasy at all, even after using the conditioner. My curls are doing exactly ehat they should be, I even got some coils, that doesn't always happen unless I'm at the beach orbusing expensive curl products. I do not have very thick hair but decently thick ...medium strands. I used the leave in conditioner afterwards and was impressed that I didn't have to use any curl pruduct. It has a light floral smell, and I usually don't like floral scents, this was pleasantly pleasing. I will be purchasing again.

I have 3b/c hair and this shampoo leaves my hair so heavy and greasy. Feels and looks unwashed! I love the scent and ingredients but it’s soooo heavy. Maybe for more coarse more dry hair?

I was expecting this product to be like a conditioner that would clean my hair. Instead it was just low-lather shampoo. It foamed up and left my hair far more stripped than my regular shampoo. I was completely perplexed, but when I shook the bottle, there were soap bubbles inside. In hindsight, I should have done that first, and maybe even put some on my hands to see if it really was a "no lather" product. I had high hopes for this, but it completely failed. Maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know.

It is moisturizing however the smell is almost unbearable. It should have at least had an essential oil like lavender or rose mixed with it. Unfortunately due to the weird smell that I can hardly tolerate, I won't be using this product line anymore. I wish I could return it.

Seriously, this has to be the worst shampoo I’ve ever used. It made my curly hair look and feel extremely greasy and flat with dry ends. My hair is also suddenly falling out like crazy. If I touch my hair at all, I’m getting 5-10 strands. This is insane. I’m seeing piles of my hair all over the house now. I get a huge wad in the shower. I have a ton of new split ends too. I hate that this has RUINED my hair. On top of all that, my scalp is so itchy and flaky now! How can they sell this product?!?

I have officially switched to Odele forever. I love their products and how CLEAN they are. C l e a n ! So wonderful.

My hair feels so greasy! I can usually go 2-3 days without washing my hair. This within 12 hours my hair feels greasy! First wash was bad, 2nd wash was worse!! Waste of money!

I love using a no lather shampoo for every other wash day. My hair is so smooth and soft after using this and the conditioner. Easy to manage with defined curls. The scent is a gorgeous herbal smell- smells like an expensive shampoo. Has not bothered my sensitive scalp. So hard to find no lather shampoos that aren’t high end/ expensive. SO happy to have found this.

I really dislike this shampoo. I hate how it doesn’t lather. My hair does not feel clean, and since I’ve been using it my scalp has become dry, itchy, and red. Do not recommend! The conditioner seems okay.

I recently permed my hair 'curly' again after several years of straightening it. Wanted to moisturize and avoid all the controversial ingredients. It took a little getting used to the 'no-lather' aspect and how much to use for my hair. I'm a week in, and so far am pleased with the results. I'm using this in combination with the coordinating conditioner as well. No residue, well moisturized, no heaviness after washing.

I switched to this shampoo and my hair is left feeling absolutely awful. It doesn't clean my scalp or my hair. It leaves a super greasy feeling on my hair. I've tried the smoothing shampoo and I would recommend that one, but the no-lather shampoo is not worth the money.

I go back and forth with this one and the unscented shampoo. They both leave my hair moisturized and soft. I love that the ingredients are all natural, this can cause the shampoo to be harder to lather. I add a little bit of water in my hand with the shampoo and that seems to help. I do recommend this brand

I love their other products so I was excited to use this to enhance my waves. Boy was I wrong. It didn’t do that, made my hair greasy and heavy, did not feel clean, and caused some dandruff. It was awful. My hair never felt clean and I’ve used the whole thing because I thought it was just me not doing something right. Nope. It just sucks.

Genuinely don’t understand how this can be considered a shampoo. I tried to wash my hair with this for the first time and as soon as I started massaging my scalp it felt super heavy and weighed down. If felt like I was washing my hair with Vaseline. Absolutely would have left my hair extremely greasy and unclean. Luckily I had some of my old shampoo left so I rinsed this stuff out and re washed my hair with something else. But my gosh, this is the worst shampoo I’ve ever tried in all my 30 years. Please listen to the negative reviews lol. I didn’t, and I regret it! Hopefully target will let me return.

Not my favorite :(! I switched to this shampoo because I have low porosity curls and need all the moisture I can get. Although this shampoo has really made my curls feel moisturized, frizz-free, lightweight, and beautiful up to 4 days after wash day—my scalp feels and looks really greasy! By day 3 my scalp is desperately asking for a refresh LOL. For reference, I have 2b curls and my hair is thin. I’m thinking it might just be my hair texture that doesn’t work with this shampoo. Going to try buying another shampoo and switching to this brand’s conditioner to see if that’s any better because I like the frizz free element of this product.
