Summary of reviews
These dog treats are highly favored by both dogs and their owners, especially for training purposes. They are well-tolerated by dogs with sensitive stomachs and are low in calories. However, many guests express a strong desire for the return of larger packaging options, such as the discontinued 20 lb box, to reduce waste and cost.

Packages WAY TOO small

We & our dogs LOVE this training Bitz, but we are going broke buying them in the small packages. it appears as if it is time to switch to another product as in looking at these reviews (from a year ago), it is evident you have NO PLANS to offer them in the 20# boxes or at least a 5# box in the future. Another company cutting off its nose to spite its face.

Love these treats. My dog and every foster I have loves these treats. Perfect for training without adding a ton of calories, and I have never had a dog that did not tolerate them. My only complaint, same as everyone else, there needs to be a larger size offering than these small bags. Even a one or 5 pound box would be better than buying 6 or more of these little bags at a time, plus would be less waste. Pleasepleaseplease consider bringing back larger sizes!

These were perfect for our large dog's kibble ball. He has a sensitive digestion and this is one of the few treats he can have. Its just too expensive buying those little 7oz bags.

With 2 German shepherds whose “weight” is a concern on their dyplastic hips the 20lb box of Bitz was perfect for our needs! Perfect size for training and treating throughout the day without being concerned we’re giving too many calories! The price point of the 8oz bags is no where as economical as the 20lb box was! PLEASE bring back the 20lb box of Bitz! The shelter they came from misses them for their obedience classes!

I've been in touch with the company and they said they did two years of research and decided to no longer produce the 20# box of Bitz. I have two dogs who love these so I need them in bulk. I can't afford to get them the same amount in the small bag size. That would be an outrageous amount of $$. I sadly will need to look for another product before this last 20# box of mine is gone.

I’ve been using the OMH Training Bitz for well over 10 years and loved that you could buy in bulk with the purchase of the 20 lb box. My dogs love the Bitz as well, as I bring them on hikes to keep their behavior in line. But to my utter dismay, I see that this product has been discontinued! I may have to switch to a brand that offers training treats in a package greater than 8 oz, as this is wasteful packaging and not at all affordable for me. What a loss!

We foster rescue dogs and do positive reinforcement training on every walk every day and so we go through a lot of treats! Without fail these treats are always a favorite! They are the perfect size and arnt smelly or messy like others, yet every foster we’ve had loves them! Our only complaint is they don’t come in the 20-lb package anymore! Please bring that size back! The quality of the treats plus the value of the larger size meant we had plenty for each foster and less plastic packaging overall. Please bring the 20-lb bag back!!
Small Training Bits are perfect!!!

I love the small training size of the mini-Bitz treats. They are the perfect size for walks and pockets. I buy the 20-pound box, but I can’t find this size any longer. Webpages say the product is discontinued, and I’ve been looking for 2 months. The larger biscuits are hard to break in half and they crumble. Please bring back the 20-pound box of Bitz. I am terribly disappointed. There is nothing like them on the market for that value, and they really help me control the dog’s weight gain. Our dogs love them. Please help !!

I'd been breaking up regular Old Mother Hubbard biscuits to use to train my pittie for PTSD service work because she loves the biscuits. But that was tough on my fingers! How did it take so long for me to find the tiny training treats that are just the right size!? They're perfect!

Bought the 20 pound box of treats for my 105 pound German Shepherd who absolutely loves these treats. You can imagine my disappointment and disgust when the arrive with the tape have lifted off the side of the not thinking much of it we opened the box and were horrified. The packaging for the 20 pounds of treats inside the box was simply a plastic bag left open. There is no attempt to keep the products safe for the dogs with some kind of sealer or even tied bag. Not know what the box and subsequent treats had been exposed to such as chemical or toxins, rain, mold or insects or their larva. With that failure in packaging I had no choice but to throw the entire box away because I didn’t even trust the cookies enough to give them to shelters or rescues. I urge Mother Hubbard to relook at the packaging processes of the 20 pound bag or treats, leaving a plastic wide open at the top and the product only protect by a thin box. It really is a shame because my dog loved these threats so much she is going to be very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So excited to get this box. I have a very large, now 5 month old, German/Australian mix named Sasquatch. These treats were perfect helping with his training. He loves them, he knows the Old Mother Hubbard bags. I love them, they're not greasy and they made training my pup easier.
