I don't think its too sweet and not that noticeable, but something to keep in mind if you like more masculine traditional Old Spice scents that are more musky. I took off a star because I think I like other products that are spray or roll on better than this lotion consistency type, but I'm glad I tried it. Just not for me.

I gave the soap to my husband and he really liked it. Normally, Old Spice will dry his skin out, but he said this bar of soap, not only smelled amazing, it left him feeling clean, and moisturized. He said the soap lathers up real nice, and rinsed away without leaving any residue behind. He was very impressed with this Old Spice bar of soap.

It is strong, but later slowly settles down after using the parts of my skin feel soft and fresh and the fragrance almost remains throughout the day. Initially when I apply, I do not like the fragrance as it is very strong, but slowly settle down. I'm not a regular user of bar soaps, but this soap made me repurchase. It gives a old mask smell, which is good after it settles down on the skin. I would highly recommend this product.

Growing up I didn't care for many because it left a film and my skin didn't feel clean after using them. Bar soaps have come a long way. The Fiji soap smells wonderful, same scent as the rest of the Fiji products. It becomes a skin scent after you've dried of and such. I did find the bar soap moisturizing but no nasty film. Skin felt clean but not stripped. It lathered nicely but not too much. Very nice and pleasant experience.

I don't normally buy bar soap, as I feel like the gel body wash is far more moisturizing. But my son and hubby like Old spice, so I figured we would give it a try. I was honestly surprised that they loved it. It was soft of my their skin and didn't break out my son who has sensitive skin and excema on his arms. The scent is really nice, think tropical, but in a clean way and not "girly" as my som put it. Although my teenage daughter decided she wants her own now too because the scent stayed so well ( not overpowering or fake coconut smell, no suntan lotion smell ). I was honestly very surprised for a bar soap and consider this to be as good for moisture as the gel/liquid soaps. And the smell lasted ( even on a teenager who plays sports, if you have one of those kids, you know that's a big deal). Guess we are buying more bars now next time instead of the usual gel. The 1 bar has lasted 3 weeks and now I'm going to go purchase another this week.
