Reminds Me of Thanksgiving with the Grandfolks

When we were growing up, around Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, our Grandparents would serve the kids Mogan David wine along with our dinner. Tasted then like grape juice and this sweet red reminded me of that. The taste and aroma are the same. Only difference is the ABV, which the sweetness belies. I'll get this one only again for next Thanksgiving.

Was our favorite wine until they went to screw to. The sweet white is bland and watered diem Down, and the sweet red has a fizz/carbonation. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE CORK!!!
Not the same

This red wine used to be my ultimate favorite, but ever since the cork got changed for a screw can it’s been tasting different with a metallic taste and has a slight fizz to it. I don’t know what it is. I’ve bought two different bottles thinking it was just the previous bottle that was off, I hope it gets fixed.

I’ve always been a sweet white wine girl because I found reds to be just too dry and bitter for my taste. But I saw this one and it said sweet red so I decided to give it a go. This is my new favorite wine. It’s not dry but it’s also not too sweet. It has a wonderful flavor and even the after taste is pleasant. I will definitely look for this one again

Since the beginning of my drinking career, I was a moscato girlie, convinced that red wines were not my thing. After all, red wine for me always held dry memories paired with a cardboard flavored wafer. However, a friend of mine introduced me to this blend one night when we happened to order a spicy pepperoni pizza and I have never been the same. The richness of the flavor is everything, especially when paired with anything spicy or meaty. It is one of my go to wine flavors, especially if it happens to be a game night. If you want to dabble in the world of red wine and are NOT a dry type of person, this is an excellent way to get your feet wet.

Bought this at Target after I googled "sweet Red's but not too sweet". Honestly, it delivered. Oliver's is delicious. Almost reminds you of a familiar grape juice you had as a kid. Not a wine snob here, but would drink again on taste alone.
Excellent family introduction to Oliver.

We have enjoyed Oliver wines for years, our niece had a tasting party for relatives to celebrate her wedding. Our family was scattered over many states and gathered for the celebration. Oliver staff was wonderful. Professional and fun.

Barely drinkable. Reminds me of children’s Tylenol chewable tablets at worst, or maybe Welch’s grape juice at best. Too sweet and tastes like it’s been artificially flavored to taste like “grape.” We made it through a couple of glasses but will be pouring out more than half the bottle. Not worth the calories or sugar.

This is the best wine we have ever tasted. We used to buy CA wines out of Temecula. This has quickly become our new "go-to" wine that pairs well with everything. We are now huge loyal fans of Oliver Sweet Red wine. We are slowly building our collection of Sweet Red for the holidays (if they make it that long) from the local HEB.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed sipping on Oliver sweet red because of its balance of sweetness and body. I like how smooth this red is without being overly sweet or bitter, great for get togethers. A hand written note on the package card was an appreciated touch from the vineyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oliver Sweet Red Wine is really good. Not too sweet but sweet enough. I found it taste much better after being chilled or served with a chilled glass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this at Jewel Osco (very easy to find a place to buy this kind of wine), tried it and like it. Everything went fine, flavorful, smooth and sweet. More suitable for women and those who want a taste of wine in their touge but not too much winery. It's good overall but personally I would prefer something a little bit stronger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly drink radio to or Stella Rosa. This is pretty on par with them and I can see myself buying this again. It’s pretty sweet but not overpowering.
