A lot of what I sew is bikinis, so the smaller mat is a great space saver and is just the right size to cut my patterns. Also, the mat folds up, so it’s easy to take when I work on projects at my Grandma’s house. It also comes with a ruler with grid marks and angle lines that I use more than I expected. The rotary cutter is the best I have ever used. It has a soft cushion handle that does not tire out your hands from repeated use. The blade is sharp. It cuts through any fabric. I like the color of the mat. It makes cutting so much easier because of the contrast of the blue against the light pattern colors. Also, the mat folds up, so it’s easy to take when I travel.
