The display case has wall mounts behind the mirror as seen in the photos. You can also rotate the case to have the black base be the background. Aside from sneakers, the display is also great for sports memorabilia such as boxing gloves, diecast cars, baseball mitts, and any other items up to 14.5 inches long by 10.5 inches deep and 8 inches tall.
