Worst tasting protein bar I have ever had!!

I've had at least 4 other brands of protein bars; granted none of them taste great as they are protein bars. And of course this is an opinion and clearly I've eaten most of it. That's because I'm making myself, because I hate wasting my money. But I might have to throw the rest of the box away. Its that disgusting. It certainly does NOT taste like chocolate chips, chocolate, nor any kind of cookie dough. It doesn't even taste like a good protein powder. It tastes sort of like dust? Can't say it tastes like cardboard. It just tastes awful and its so dry you practically gag swallowing so you better have plenty to drink while you eat it. If I still had the receipt I'd just try to take them back! And when you chew it, it sort of makes your teeth stick together and leaves a sort of bitter taste in the back of your tongue. Ick. Just ick.

The chocolate chip cookie dough bar has been my favorite 'go to' bar for a lobg time, that said the new rwcipe with wierd crunchies is just ok. The crystal crunchy stuff is out of place and takes awsy from the otherwise creamy bar. Go back to to original recipe!

This new recipe is TERRIBLE!!! These used to be my all time favorite protein bar and flavor. The new recipe adds a crunchy texture and a maple taste. I am so disappointed 😔

I tried my first One bar (chocolate chip) about 1.5 years ago and absolutely loved it. As a recent type 2 diabetic, it was a great snack that was low on sugar and carbs, but also high in protein to keep me full and energized. Because I enjoyed this flavor, I tried many of the other flavors and enjoyed those as well. I had been eating them pretty routinely despite the high cost per bar until the new recipes came out. I don't like the texture or flavor of the new recipes and have not re-bought this flavor especially since trying its new recipe for the first time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a fan of the recipe change, I tastes off to me now; I liked the old recipe better.
Please bring back the old recipe!

These were my favorite protein bars, it was like eating a candy bar that kept me full for hours. Not sure why they changed the recipe - to save 20 calories? The texture and flavor are worse now, and it’s not worth the high price point anymore.

Loved this flavor and ate it daily for extra protein. New formula came out in July 2024 is not good at all. Terrible taste and after taste. Weird texture. Please bring back the original formula!

I ate one of these every day. This was the only flavor I ate. The new and improved recipe sucks. That is 365 One Bars I will not be buying. I will be switching back to Cliff Bars. Please switch back to old recipe or lose customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to eat these every day for breakfast and when I saw that a new box came in I first got excited and thought they got better. Come to find out the texture is worse and it tastes worse. I couldn’t even finish one bar before I had to throw it away. They need to go back to the old recipe because it was way better than what it is now.

Please bring back the old version of this bar. They were my favorite and the best part of my day. The new version has too many chocolate chips and is not as soft as before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using these protein bars for months as a pre workout snack and they have been amazing for me! The flavor is delicious and the texture is perfect! It feels like I’m eating a full on treat but it is actually healthy for me!

Tastes horrible! Looks tasty in photo but could not even finish one bar. Has some strange flavor. Overall similar in texture to the cookie dough think thin bars but those are better! The inside is a strange yellow color
