Open Skies Pinot Grigio - 750ml Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s very light and crisp with notes of citrus. I’m not a huge Pinot Grigio fan, but we made shrimp scampi and it paired nicely. The packaging is appealingly and looks nice displayed. I’d probably purchase it again as a gift.

It's on the dry side with hints of floral and fruit aromas, and it paired so well with my creamy Tuscan chicken dinner. It had an unbeatable price and was worth it. I would definitely purchase again, and can't wait to try their other wines!

I normally don't drink white wine, but wanted to find something I could sip on this summer when I'm sitting by the pool or at a BBQ. This wine checks all of the boxes. It is super affordable, light, refreshing and crisp. I love that it isn't sweet even though it has a fruity taste. There are notes of white peach and citrus that will make you feel refreshed. I plan on using this wine to make a white wine sangria and wine spritzer this summer.

I like how all the open skies brand labels are simple and easily recognizable with color variations. The normal price is appropriate for this wine. It is dry, fresh, clean and sharp on the palette with an appealing aftertaste. As with all Pinots, I like how you can taste the nuances of the white grapes instead of just sugar sweet.

Their branding is eye catching so that was a bummer to see. Other wine varieties of this line did not seem to have that issue at this store. At a wine tasting with friends, this Pinot Grigio got good scores, but was the lowest performing of the Open Skies lineup. It was very delicate in flavor so any food pairing overshadowed the flavor of the wine. By itself, it was lightly sweet and floral, but lacked much depth.

It didn’t have a super strong wine smell but somewhat of a floral scent. This is not a bougie wine but a decent wine for the price point. I’d recommend it with a salad or chicken pairing. The packaging is simple and not overbearing, the bottle is easy to fit in a fridge as well. I received this wine courtesy of a promotion from Influenster.

Two glasses put me over tipsy and everyone at book club enjoyed it. For the price point I’d say it’s great! This would do really well to cook with also.
