I have Sjogren’s Disease, which means that I have trouble producing saliva. This, in turn, causes me to have severe dry mouth all the time. Sometimes I can hardly speak because it’s just so difficult to move my tongue in the right direction when it’s like the Sahara in there. I’ve tried every mouth-moistener out there, including lozenges, mouthwashes, spritzes and sprays, and even prescription medications that are supposed to trigger the body into producing more saliva (the side effects were worse than the dry mouth). In the end, I can officially say that these Xylimelts are the best thing that I’ve found to combat my Sjogren’s. The taste is clean, refreshing, and not-too-sweet, and they actually stay in place once stuck to the gums. For me, the effects last about 2 hours or so, or at least until I take it out to eat something. This is definitely worth trying if you have an issue with dry mouth!

I am unable to sleep without using this product, which completely eliminates my dry mouth problem overnight. I can get away using just one if I'm running low, but 2 as recommended by the bottle is optimal. These tablets STICK and there is no risk of coming off; even repositioning one within seconds of applying is difficult. I wish they didn't contain xylitrol (which has concerning new data reported about the ingredient) but they make sleep possible so I'll have to live with that.
