Ordinary People by Judith Guest is one of the best books I have read as a school assignment. The book feels so relatable and it discusses issues that any regular family might be dealing with. Guest takes the readers into the minds of the characters. The way the book is written allows us to really know how the characters are feeling. Guest focuses on issues such as deaths in the family, depression, therapy, teenage struggles, and a lot more situations that are very common in any family. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to others.
