Q: If it's made with greens and colored fruits and veggies that have flavor to them, how can it be white and flavor-less?

A: Great question! The color of the product is predominately an off-white color because the main ingredient is collagen. There can be slight color variation from to batch to batch. You may notice some dark color specks because of the dark colored vegetables in the superfoods blend for example. I hope this helps clarify.

It doesn't all dissolve! I've tried adding more water and using hot water and no matter what there's a bunch laying at the bottom of my cup, no matter how much it gets mixed around.

I’ve tried it in a smoothie and in my coffee. One thing I noticed was it powder does not dissolve all the way. There was a lot of clumps of powder floating at the top. There’s a slight taste to it but that was to be expected having superfood mixed into the collagen.

Why has the formula changed so dramatically? Before, it dissolved perfectly and hardly had a taste. Now, it is gritty, won’t dissolve, and tastes terrible. I’m searching for new collagen peptides now.

I enjoy other Orgain powders, but this one is a fail. It’s noticeably sour. Whereas the Vital Proteins brand is flavorless in my coffee, this one makes it taste sour. I tried it in just a glass of water and….sour. Yuck. The texture/mouth feel of collagen is bad enough; add this sour taste and I’m really struggling to make myself take it.

I tried the regular Orgain Collagen Peptides (the one that doesn't mention 50 superfoods) first, so I can compare the two, which is something I had hoped to find when I was trying to choose which one to buy! The texture is quite different: the superfoods version is finer/denser, almost like flour, as opposed to the regular version which is in texture more like sugar. The regular version completely disappears into my coffee after stirring it in; the superfoods version left some sludgey residue in the bottom of my cup, so now I keep the spoon in my mug and stir occasionally to keep that from happening. I could not taste the regular version in my coffee; the superfoods version has a slight cinnamon flavor, which I like, but it still loses a star because it claims to be unflavored (and because I have to keep stirring it).

I’m not sure how this has so many great reviews because it’s horrible compared to other brands. To be unflavored it definitely has a distinct taste, and I get that it says unflavored not flavorless.. but there are much better options in that department. It also clumps horribly. I add it straight to my fresh hot shots of espresso and it still doesn’t 100% dissolve after tons of stirring. I would return this if I could, it’s that bad.

I have been using for a week now and have noticed my skin is improving. Forehead wrinkle definitely less noticeable and my hands look younger again. After about day 5, I noticed I’m not as hungry between meals. I put this in my coffee each morning and stir for about 30 seconds and it is completely dissolved. It has absolutely no taste. I am going to be using this forever.
