I like it because it isn’t pre-seasoned!! I have stomach issues and is sensitive to a lot of seasonings!! It’s supposed to taste raw; It’s from the bone! Please don’t stop selling this broth because of the great number of negative reviews!!

This is hands down, the absolute best bone broth for healing leaky gut. Many people know that bone broth is recommended to heal leaky gut, as it restores and repairs the gut lining...HOWEVER, the bone broth that you find on the shelves of most stores, even the organic, has a ton of added spices and apple cider vinegar (believed to help bring out more nutrients, but not proven)... But these things will actually WRECK They got of anyone who is experiencing leaky cat or stomach sensitivities. Just like me. I cannot have pepper or any type of vinegar without extreme stomach cramping and pain right now and needed to either make my own bone broth without the added spices and vinegar, or find some to buy to drink on a daily basis. One cup a day with a big pinch of salt is all it takes. And within a few weeks your gut starts to heal. I'm so happy to say that I found this after searching quite literally almost everywhere and I could not find an organic traditionally made bone broth without all of the extra spices and vinegar. This is an absolutely FANTASTIC bone broth for anyone, not just if you are trying to heal your gut. Everyone out here complaining that it tastes nasty and all of that. It's not nasty, it literally tastes EXACTLY like unseasoned bone broth tastes when you make it homemade. We have a 100 acre Angus farm and I also grew up on a farm where we raised cattle and made our own bone broth and this is how bone broth is SUPPOSED to taste before it is seasoned. Even as a chef and someone preparing food, I greatly appreciate that this is available so that anyone cooking can add their OWN seasoning. If you would like to buy broth that's already preseasoned that's easy peasy and you don't have to add anything to and you don't know how to season your own food or you want someone to do it for you or you don't really have any preferences, then go ahead and buy the preseason. A lot of people like that because it's easy. Even before I had stomach issues, I preferred having my bone broth unseasoned and then adding my own seasonings. Anyway, I'm happy to report that after just 3 weeks that my chronic stomach pain and issues from leaky gut and other problems are 99% gone. I've slowly tried to incorporate some more pepper and things like that and more acidic foods like some tomato sauce and I'm finally able to eat some of that without any stomach pain! This bone broth is phenomenal! Just because it tastes like raw and adulterated bone broth should taste (which is a little gamey) does not mean that there's anything wrong with it. Because there is not. As someone who has made real stuff, this is as close as you're going to get to homemade. Especially if you care about the quality of your seasonings, I would get this and add your own instead of buying pre-seasoned. All I do is add a big pinch of salt to this and drink a cup of it everyday. Tastes yummy and not nasty. But yes, if you drink it without any added salt or anything else it's a little gamey. But again, that's totally normal! Any other bone broth that you are buying would also taste exactly like this without the added seasonings. Target, please don't stop making this! It's quite literally the only thing available like it that I can find. I'm able to get that good and beneficial gelatin that I need daily and bone broth right now without the added seasonings. Also, people who have allergies or are sensitive dessertancies and things have no other option that I know of than to make their own or to buy this. This is absolutely wonderful and please keep making it!

If I could give this zero starts I would. This tastes and smells like dog food. Forget drinking it alone, it shouldn’t even be cooked with.

This broth is absolutely nasty. There’s no other way to put it. If you’re a person who likes to try things for themselves, DONT! Trust the reviews.

It’s so bad. Like SO bad. Like other people here, I thought maybe it was just me until I read the reviews. There are several better (still affordable) options at target.

Tasted like it was burned

I honestly thought the ones I bought were spoiled (the seal is very weak and difficult to tell if it's secure) but then I read the reviews and realized it's just an awful product. The taste was just wrong. A little sour and bitter. What a waste of money! Not only for the broth, but the ingredients I was cooking in the broth, as well. I'm never buying this again.

Please take this off the shelf. 😭 This tastes so bad and nothing like broth.

Extremely bitter and has ruined a couple of My Meals. The first meal was when I lived in Florida and I couldn’t figure out why my whole meal tasted so bitter. The second meal was tonight ( I now live in VA) and i finally figured out it’s target’s bitter bone broth! 🤢 As someone else stated, they need to take this off the shelves so no one is permanently scarred from ever trying bone broth again.

Horrible after taste, watery taste at first and then a horrible after bitter taste at the end. No one in my family liked and we had to through out the soup I prepared.

I'm not sure if we just got a bad batch or what, but I won't chance it by purchasing another box. The only words I can describe it with are bitter, watery, and burnt.

This is a fantastic product! Great for breastmilk production. I use it with my quinoa. Best way to boost your immunity! Great YUKA score as well!

I drink a hot glass as soon as I wake up and a little before bed. Absolutely delicious. Tried several other brands and I didn’t like them as much as this. Bought an expensive jar for $9 today at Whole Foods and it seriously matches right up to it. Hoping they have 5 units tomorrow so I can stock up.

This is NOT what bone broth is supposed to taste like. I love bone broth -- LOVE IT. Can't get enough. But this is overwhelmingly bitter, has a weak flavor profile that is squashed by that bitterness, and it tasted burnt. For contrast, try Kettle -- that's what bone broth is supposed to taste like. Better yet, make your own. You can do it!!

Bone broth is not made with meat, it's made of the bone. It's supposed to taste like that.

Shockingly bad and bitter

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. My mother loves this broth. I buy 6 at a time for her. She drinks it up so fast! I hope it is never discontinued.

I've never bought bone broth, so I thought I'd try it. This was so bitter it ruined all the lovely veggies and rice I added to it. They need to get this off the shelves so it doesn't turn anyone else off to bone broth!
