Q: Q: Received set after the site description states GOTS organic. Packaging doesnt say they're organic anywhere. Only OEKO-TEX. no GOTS label in/on anything anywhere. MANUFACTURER please clarify?

A: Hi, Thank you for your interest in our products. On the packaging for both sheets and pillowcases, we usually include the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) license number. On 144TC pillowcases, we did not mention this, though. We have already escalated this issue with the factory to include the same in the following lot. Please be assured our sheets sets and pillowcases for Purity Home 300 TC and 144 TC are made from GOTS-certified organic materials. The GOTS organization ensures that textiles are organic from the collecting of raw materials to the environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing of the product. You can check our license number : CU 807480 on the GOTS website for validation. I hope this information helps.

Q: Is the thread count 400 or 300 or 144? The description lists both 400 and 144 in different locations. And a brand expert reply mentions 144TC and 300TC. I am looking for 400 thread count.

These are fairly basic pillowcases. They are not very soft and not smooth. There is no hem seam detail on the pillowcase at all, making it also look cheap as well as feel cheaper. If you need basic pillowcases, don’t mind that they aren’t the smoothest, and you can get them on sale, these still may fit your needs. Or they can be good for cases for pillows you use in frequently. But I can’t recommend them for general use.

As a bald man he tends to sweat through any material I have bought in the past, which leave sweat stains on the the pillows. He has been using these pillow cases throughout the entire summer and no sweat stains have appeared. Super soft material. I plan on buying the entire bed sheet set when I get that chance.

Also the fabric kind of felt rough to my liking. I like a cool sheer texture. Even though it was organic I was hoping for more. Overall pretty good wouldn’t get again.

My initial thought when receiving them was they were not the softest but after washing and drying that did help a little. They do wrinkle easily but that is just the nature of the material. They fit my king pillows perfectly and match the rest of our bedding.
