Are these cans made with BPA-free lining?

I bought two cans of these garbanzo beans. Both labels said garbanzo beans, but one can was full of black beans. Never had this happen before so obviously a mixup during canning. Buyer beware.

I like the flavor that is mild. Easy to mash. I used these G&G Organic Garbanzo Beans for a falafel mix. I added my own spices and bread crumbs. One can was good for 4 single servings of falafel sandwiches.

First time trying this good and gather organic chickpeas, wanted to another ingredients for salads other than just the regular greens. Will see if my family loves it then i will stock up.

These are delicious chickpeas with great ingredients. I love the price as well. 10/10.

Used these chickpeas to make zucchini and chickpea pancakes. They were a delicious, fried treat. The chickpeas held up well even in the mixing bowl.

I really love these, and make my own hummus at least once a week. However, this Target has been out of them for weeks now! What's going on?

I do want to warn anyone who has stomach issues should rinse and add fresh water and cook these for 15 minutes to soften. They are great to use in so many ways and less salt is always best.

Love that these are organic but after boiling for over 20 minutes they are still hard. Ridiculous for a canned bean, dry beans take 45 minutes when soaked overnight….

Taste is good and we buy them often. Organic at a fair price. We always rinse beans whichever company we buy, and we add to recipes, salads or just enjoy because they’re healthy and yummy.

Good taste and texture for canned beans

I purchased two cans of these chickpeas and they were both spoiled well within their expiration date. If your chickpeas have a bad odor/flavor please don't eat them. Unfortunately for me, I poured these into a giant salad and ruined the entire thing. Pretty frustrating and leaves a lasting impression. You won't catch me buying any more of these. I have never gotten bad canned chickpeas before but I also haven't seen low sodium so maybe the lack of that preservative leads to early spoiling.

I normally love chickpeas, and buy both the canned and dry forms to always have some on hand, and always buy organic ones. However, this brand is terrible. It is usually undercooked so that it is like hard plastic, and is usually tasteless at best, or has a nasty taste which is worse. I usually buy several cans at a time (various brands from different stores), and stock up the pantry with them before using up the earlier items, and all but 1 can of this brand were terrible and were thrown out after a couple bites - and they were opened way before their expiration dates. I tried my last can of this yesterday and it was surprisingly OK - good enough to make hummus; but I am not going to play hit or miss with this brand so I will no longer buy it and will stick with the brands that are consistently good. Also, why are these only available in the low-sodium version? Most of the sodium gets rinsed out with the liquid, but you need to cook chickpeas in a decent amount of real salt (not the toxic table salt which is not fit for animals) to bring out the flavor of chickpeas. The price would be good if the chickpeas were edible, but not for something that is so bad that it gets thrown out.

Yuck. The chickpeas did not taste fresh. I don’t think I’ve ever bought bad chickpeas before and these were gross. Even my five year old said ok they tasted funny and did not touch another and she loves sad chickpeas. Going back to my old brand and never straying.

These are the best price that I can find where I live. No complaints!

I didn’t know a canned chickpea could taste bad, but these are (and I don’t say this lightly) terrible. They taste like plastic and are hard. I don’t believe in food waste but I threw three cans of these away because they are so bad. I hope it was just a bad batch.
