My hair is seriously greasy after using this shampoo, and it’s happened twice now. So I won’t be using it any more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free as part of a set with the conditioner in exchange for my honest opinion. The shampoo bottle is fairly unique in shape. Initially I was concerned this was going to be a twist top to dispense the product but thankfully the lid is a well-disguised flip top. It comes out at a controlled pace without putting too much shampoo in your hand at once. The scent is a little stronger than I’d like (and doesn’t particularly smell great) but it doesn’t linger overly much. If I was using just the shampoo and not the conditioner in tandem I would be a little concerned about dryness. My hair feels incredibly dry after shampooing, but with the conditioner it works wonders on my fine hair giving it volume and softness. I was really surprised about how much volume it gave me as my hair is normally very limp and close to my head. As far as the claims for less breakage and more elasticity—time will tell. Two shampoos isn’t enough to form an opinion on the long-term benefits but I’ll definitely keep using it as I enjoy the results of both the shampoo and conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Gold Lust line, the Signature (the black packaging), and this Hair Alchemy. The texture of this is very similar to Gold Lust, with the latter has shimmer in the shampoo. Both Gold Lust and Hair Alchemy don't need a lot to foam up. The Signature line however, is a clear shampoo and needs quite a bit to get a decent lather. I think if you're currently using Gold Lust, just switch to this since it is cheaper and is 99% similar to Gold Lust

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is too cute, it looks very luxurious, the ingredients that the product comes with are very healthy for the hair and after I used it it left my hair very soft and shiny, and it also smells very good! I definitely recommend it!

I’ve used this for about 1.5 years now, I switched due to perimenopause hair loss. This has helped my hair to become healthier and slow the hair loss. My hair is stronger and healthier and has started to return. Although it is part of my routine but was my biggest change.

I have fine hair that does have some heat styling damage, so I need a shampoo that is nourishing but not too heavy. This worked well! It’s pricey, so take that into come moderation. But it is nice.

I usually use the gold lust but decided to try this since my hair is thinning and weak from highlighting, I feel like I’m seeing and feeling a difference, pricey but I will be ordering this again.

At first i wasn’t sure if i would love this bc i didn’t notice a huge immediate difference (specifically w hydration) but after a few washes my hair was noticeably healthier and stronger. i noticed my hair wasn’t falling out nearly as much as it was! and the strands do feel more resilient than they were! it’s really an amazing product and worth the money. for context i live in a very dry climate, have long curly/wavy hair that is dry, and am 33 years old w some coloring/grays. i think i will try alternating this product with a moisturizing one in the future. highly recommend!

This shampoo is my go to for strengthening my strands and for my clients! If you haven’t tried it, please do… love it actually, the whole line is fabulous for those in need.

I bought this as my hair is thinning and damaged with age, after 2 uses my hair is soft and bouncy and has healthy volume. It feels great and smells great.

I bought this at the salon last time I got my hair done and have have used it the past couple of weeks. The way it makes my hair feel makes me want to crawl out my skin! Just gross, greasy, limp. The product buildup was so bad and the only thing I would put in it after is the supershine cream on the ends but some days I would try something else to see if if was the shampoo or product - it was either or. I had to use a clarifying shampoo and zero oribe products to get it feeling clean and better. I tried to stick with it because the stylist highly recommended it for my hair. As other reviews mentioned, I noticed I was “shedding” a lot more too - hair falling out. Hopefully that was while during and it stops now that I’ve stopped using it. Definitely do mot recommend.

I ordered shampoo, conditioner and the heatless serum and spent a lot. I wanted to hate these products due to cost, but alas I FREAKING LOVE THEM. I will continue to spend too much because my hair smells amazing, feels amazing and looks amazing. Boo, ok not really . I just have the price but you get what you say for and a little really does the job. I'm hooked

This entire line has made an incredible difference in how my hair looks. I was dealing with breakage, dryness and it looked just overall unhealthy. I’ve been using the serum, shampoo and conditioner for about a year and I adore it.
