Description
The World is a Dangerous Place!
Disappointed fathers, depressed giant squids, dynamite on train tracks, and so
much more! It's up to you to rescue those in need. Use your skills, tools, and
imagination to devise foolproof plans and save the day!
The first victim is the person who lives the most dangerously. Each of the other
players is called a rescuer. The victim draws and reveals a danger card
containing the perilous situation they are caught in. The rescuers then place one
skill card and one tool card from their hands which they will utilize to tell a story of
how they will save the victim. While a Rescuer presents their rescue story
another can play a plot twist on their cards, tripping them up and changing the
story for more engaging play. The Victim awards the Danger card to the Rescuer
with the best Rescue.
All cards are written for embellishment and lateral thinking. "Able to transform
into a rock" well what kind of rock are you?!

My guests and I absolutely LOVE this game! It’s similar to Cards Against Humanity, but with a unique twist: the goal is to come up with the best rescue plan for the friend in danger. The person in danger then decides who created the best story based on the skill and tool cards played. This game really sparked our imaginations and creativity, as we tried to convince the friend in danger that our rescue plan was the ultimate solution! ;)

We love this game! I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's kind of a mix of apples to apples and D&D. Creativity and imagination encouraged and lots of laughs! The instructions encouraged older kids but even down to six years old played fine on their own. Highly recommend

This was a cool game to check out, we enjoyed it. You get to exercise your brain by coming up with a rescue plan using tool and skill cards. The victim chooses who had the best rescue plan and gives them a danger card. First one with 3 danger cards wins. Nice quality cards and box.

This is a fun group game that will get you to tap into your creative and imaginative side! Each round a Victim reads the Sanger they are in, then each of the rescuers uses one of their tools and skills to come up with a rescue plan. The plot twists will get you thinking on your feet! Our preteen kids had as much fun playing as the adults.

It was a super fun take on Snake Oil which we happen to own, so it was really easy for us to understand the rules and start playing right away. Basically each person takes turns being the victim in danger (the situation is given by a danger card that is drawn). The other players have to convince the victim that they will be their best rescuer by selecting a tool and a skill from their deck of 3 of each option (you basically mix & match and pick your best pair). They have to "sell" their rescue attempt to the victim & the victim picks the best one as the winner of the round. There are also plot twist cards to make it even more interesting by adding detail to the situation that you can then cater your rescue to. Oh and there's also an expansion pack if you need more options! This is fun to play in a semi big group so that its more competitive as you try to trump each other's rescue plans with your own. But it also makes a really easy road trip game bc its played with just cards that you keep to yourself so you don't need to put them down on a table or anything and there is no game board. If you need a new family or party game, maybe for Christmas, give this one a try!

A good imagination building game that makes you think, not always logically. The write in cards seem like a cop out as you can just write the “perfect” solution.
